F15c vs f16c

Hello,

I am playing American and my goal is to get to the top tier. Currently, I am at 6.3, and I am researching all the plane lines except the one that ends with the F15C. Now that I look over at the top-tier stats I am wondering whether to start researching the f15C line. Should I start that line too or just continue trying to get F16C, F14, and Av-8B? Thank you in advance!

Depends on playstyle

F-16C is the dogfighter. If you prefer getting in close and personal, then the F-16C is the better option. Its also got some very good mutlirole capabilies

F-15C is a BVR truck, very powerful at the moment with being able to spam off 8x AMRAAM, but limited in a dogfight vs Gripens and F-16s. If you prefer more defensive gameplay this is a good choice. (be warned, Typhoon might be here before long, and the F-15C might get knocked down a peg)

F-14B is also quite a defensive aircraft, much like the F-15C, but at a lower BR

AV-8B+ is great CAS, but limited in A2A. The AMRAAM give it teeth, but struggles in a WVR fight vs most other aircraft at its BR

Do not base your current research goals on the current vehicles, especially when you’re at 6.3 and there isn’t a specific vehicle you want.

Do you have a premium account? Premium vehicle? Judge how long it will take you to top tier, and estimate what vehicles will be added to which lines by then, and go off that. F-18 will probably come after the F-14, F-22 I think would go after F-16, and F-35A after the F-15, F-35B after the AV-8B+, and F-35C after the F14/F-18.

These are my current predictions but you’ll have to make your own. If you’re using a premium account and vehicle, you won’t have to think this far ahead.

That is a very interesting idea

Thanks this will help me a lot!
