i just joined War Thunder’s new update today, and already there’s a bug where it will not let me put any fox 2/3’s on the very side pylons but will let me on the left.
Read the changelogs, if that is a case for you, it’s a bug
i think it was due to the aim9 fins being bigger and getting in the way of aim120
but it works on other side?
It essentially means you can’t have the aim-9 on the same rack if that rack is carrying aim-120’s. I think its pretty clear.
In practice, it means you can’t use IR missiles anymore, or you will be limited to 8 missiles (4 IR + 4 ARH) instead of a combination of 12

I received 2 pop-ups related to the F-15C GE loadout. Can you even spawn with that loadout?

Your not meant to have them on either. I think it’s just a visual bug. If you take the 9m off the right wing and try to put them back on it shouldn’t let you.
Is this meant to be a permanent change, if so, this drastically lowers the Golden Eagles effectiveness. Can’t understand why they would want to nerf the GE? I hope this was a glitch or they are working the problem out.
Yes it is. The Sidewinders would clip with the AMRAAMs on the bottom dual pylon. If you want a sidewinder you have to give up two AMRAAMs
It would be nice if the devs made it where you only have to sacrifice the AMRAAM under the AIM9. Whats the point of getting rid of both AMRAAMs if only 1 clips with the AIM9?
Guess it would be nice. But honestly with the fox-3 fm rework I’d say there’s an even smaller reason to even use a Sidewinder.
