what point bro you just start an inflammatory comment that literally makes no sense like, there were a ton of upgrades from the B to D tomcat bro if you’re ignorant to them that’s on you but giving the f14b a CONTEMPORARY missile that is faces EVERY SINGLE GAME wouldn’t make it pointless. And the mig25/mig31 are literally going to be garbage because warthunder isn’t designed for them (although the mig25 was never really good)

There is nothing inflammatory about saying decompression is necessary, and wanting to fix the F-14B’s weapon systems.
What is inflammatory is accusing people of being things and attacking people for bug reporting F-14s.
you stated it should go up if it received aim9ms, it should not, you also stated it would make the d redundant, it would not. and the mig31 has no ability to dogfight whatsoever and with warthunder’s map size you’re literally not going to be able to use the r33 effectively leaving you just r77s and r73s of which there are better platforms, and that’s if it gets the BM

F14B getting 9M would be fine as it wouldnt make the D pointless D Model had more than just 9M it had a better radar new avionics Aim54C ECCM SEALED which would have better tracking also would get better sparrows Aim7-P as the apg-71 had a data link system for unlike the awg-9 which only had DL for pheniox

Either way, Backrage’s conclusion over the F-14B and D is partially incorrect; Either way the F-14B would have to move to 13.3 as to not be OP, which would at minimum cause the decompression needed.
It cannot stay 13.0 with everything else when it’s already superior to the F-14A iran without 9Ms currently

i also see another soulution you just buff aim9L the major beef i have with B model F14B is i should be able to keep up with hornet but cant because hornet gets AOA limiter and gaijubles forgot to give it and said no as its in testing so f14 has to deal with it every match with limiter and bvr the F18 has better sparrows
