Was referring to x_Shini_
It appears that all of his arguments are valid wether he has flown the f-14 or not.
you are judging vehicles when u didnt even grind them out, sorry but you are wrong here, you can see the differences but just dismiss them for some reason as useless when you didnt even try it
Well they released the F-16s before I got to spading the F-14B. And I’m not “complaining” about it. I’m just saying the F-14B is more compareable to the F-14A than the F-16C.
You have never touched the F-14s XD
Many vehicles feel like a piece of shit when you have to grind them stock. Thats how i felt like too when i started on the 14B. Finish the grind and then make your opinion. It will probably change as you not only do you unlock all the modifications but you also learn how to use the added advantange of 600+ countermeasures.
I also had to spade the 14B while going against F-15’s and F-16’s and Su-27’s.
i never said something else, the F16C is inherintly another aircraft, one is a dogfighter the other is a bvr truck, dont play the F14 like a F16
The f-16C is a 12.3 the F-14A early is 11.7. F-14B is in middle of them but you find the F-14A more compareable because it is simply the same airframe and F-14B is an upgrade of it. Ofcourse its more compareable, because it has less difference capability wise. The f-16C can carry only 2 aim-7’s and 4 sidewinders.
The f-16c was made as a light fighter aircraft whereas f-14b is a heavy chunky fleet defender which excels at bvr (unlike the f-16). The fuel on f-16C does not last long and it only has 120 countermeasures, limiting how long it can stay on the battlefield.
Lol, if I can’t give an opinion because I’ve not spaded one of two vehicles, then you certainly cannot as you have ground out neither.
The difference here is that your opinion is biased because you feel that the f-14 is a piece of shit because you’re still doing the stock grind and have not learned to fly it. He was stating why the f-14b is better, and those facts still apply wether he has flown the f-14b or not because his opinion is not based on his experience but objective facts.
either way i am out, cant reason with him
I didnt say anything about the F-14 being a piece of shit. I said that for balancing purposes its not much different than the F-14A. Vehicles with far greater differences sit at the same BR too.
Like? which aircraft with a lot of differences are at the same br?
Heck look at Mig 29 and Mig29G for germany, the differences are 2 missles and its 0.3br higher the F14B has more differences to the F14a then the Mig29 has to the Mig29g
You are not directly addressing the question about the F-14B’s BR but you are instead introducing the idea that other vehicles with significant differences also share the same BR. Your tactic doesn’t provide a clear answer or justification for the F-14B’s BR but rather shifts the focus onto a different issue.
whataboutism.
@ZE4L0T and pls dont come with ww2 planes, those realy arent comparable to the current situation with top tier anymore
I was simply responding to the argument that since the F-14B has more countermeasures it deserves a higher BR.
It is irrespective of specific features alone and it ignores the holistic issue where 14B brings more than just countermeasures.
And it does not matter wether other planes have issues in their br (or not). 14B is at a suitable br for itself. It would be pointless to address every single issue of every jet and their br in response to the 14B having an appropriate br.
It brings (slightly) more than the F-14A, but it’s no where near the F-16Cs, which was my point. The meta at top tier is light fighter with god-tier missiles, not missile buses with 1-flare missiles.
and thats why the F-16C is 12.3 easy as that
And that is why I agreed with OP. The idea that the F-14B sits .3 below the F-16C and at the same BR as the other F-16s is laughable.
They could move the first Mig 29 down to 11.7 too for all I care.
