F14A Late AnD F14D

Anything post shah doesn’t belong in the U.S tech tree. That’s why I said the AM model.

Theres just about nothing to prove theres any credible difference between the F-14A pre-shah and post-shah beyond iranian claims, and theres nothing to prove russian involvement with the aircraft at all. Your entire argument is basically just “I want it in the russian tech tree to piss off US players”

They gave flares to F-15A, why would they won’t give it to the F-15C?

That’s not my argument, it was either Russia or China and as far is it seems, they have further relations with Russia. I don’t want to say you’re in denial, it just makes sense. I would much rather see a independent Iranian tech tree, loads of interesting gear there.

They gave the game a post-MSIP F-15A?

Yes its based on the coast guard or something like that

It’s based on an F-15A with the MSIP configuration

Hell, to go a step further, Iran claims the cockpit was modernized on the F-14AM, despite the fact that in this picture of the F-14AM’s cockpit, there is literally no change from the old F-14A’s early cockpit:

Here’s another picture of Iranian F-14’s being refueled:

Notice the lack of any russian or chinese missiles, still the old vintage 1960’s american missiles. I wonder why the Iranians are still only using 40-60 y/o missiles instead of those shiny new Russian/Chinese missiles they “integrated” into the F-14AM…

Literally the only info we have about the Iranian F-14AM’s are “claims” from Iran, and the very rare picture here and there which dont support their claims.

So what do you suggest? Gaijin add the F-14AM to russia, despite having literally 0 credible info to model it beyond “its an F-14A with a new paintjob and can fire a different american missile”?

The fact these things are even still flying, despite being 48 year old airframes, is a miracle, and quite frankly likely to be the reason why they’re only ever really seen in the rare photo-op’s.

but it has the turkey feathers

it seems not all of them had R27 integrated

F-15As of every country had turkey feathers, with America and Japan being the only ones to remove them shortly after… Most Middle-Eastern or Near-Eastern F-15s still have their fairings, though some like Saudi Arabia have been removing them on their F100s.

Those are old pictures of attempts at integrations. It never ended up working out. I also already posted 1 or 2 of those pictures earlier on.

An attempt at integration does not equal a successful integration.

ok and do you have anything proving that they failed

What proves they succeeded? Where are the trial results?

The burden of evidence falls on that making the claim, not him refuting it. As is the case in trial and law.

The fact there isn’t a single picture of them in service or in flight despite Iran having ready access to soviet/russian missiles and them using 40-60 year old american missiles instead as late as 2020 maybe?

ok and GR1 didn’t use SRAAMs in combat

wussis here

The AIM-7-E2 is 55 years old, the AIM-9J is 52 years old, minus a few years for later manufactures. They’re both over a decade older than the introduction date for the R-27…
