I flew the F101 in test drive and it seems to me a slower but better turning F104 with better energy retention? Is this correct?
I believe so, decent sustained rate and also a lot of speed.

I mean it’s not hard to turn better than a F-104, im pretty sure even the all WW2 heavy bombers beat an F-104 in a 1 circle.

The bombers have very bad roll rates i dont think they would win though. Unless we count gunner?
B29 would win the rate actually :^)
And that’s against an f104S, which is the best rating F104 by virtue of having the strongest engine.
