The AGM-65 is NOT (emphasis on NOT) at ALL broken its one of the WORST agms in the game while russians have an ARSENAL of AGM’s

i totally agree that they need to give the US some weapons for CAS not saying US dosent have decent/good CAS but the Su34, Su30, Su27SM all have good AGM’s with 20KM plus range while the ADATS cant even intercept something thats 20KM away while the pantsir can and the AGM-65 says that its 21KM range but its actually below 10KM and above 15 for STATIC targets (not moving ones)
For your point about the lower tier American jets, yes, I will agree that early mavericks are leaps and bounds better than other available options, but for top tier, I really don’t know what you mean by Strong Cas options.
For the F-15E for example, while it does seem quite overpowered at a glance, you really have to slow down and take a look at how its kit interacts with ground RB to realize its not as broken as it looks at a glance. starting with the Lazer Guided bombs, they seem great on paper, but they often aren’t super effective due the presence of SPAA making safely using each bomb extremely Time consuming. Then the Mavericks, Yes are great. But they are still D mavericks (I know some others have G mavs, but they are a warhead change to make them more reliable, not increased range/ better seeker) that are found at brs as low as 10.7, they still can get the job done, but are FAR FAR worse than the something like the later Kh series.
Now this is NOT me saying “AMERICA STRUGGLE” and asking for the best possible munition to beat the shit out of my opponent in a completely one sided matchup, As that is how we get 1 upmanship that ruins game balance and gets us into situations like this, but rather something to close the gap, but still leave us at a disadvantage in the self guided category.
Something along the lines of the SLAM could work, but thats only if it will perform worse than the 38MT’s, as that’s the goal, something that should hopefully be a threat and considerably better than the Mavericks, but not as good as things like the KH-38MTs.

yeah, but even then, You still probably would rarely fire them past about 18-20km. Certainly wont be firing them at (if conditions allow) 30kms like you can in theory do with KH-38s and AASMs now

This isn’t doing the Mav justice, as there’s only about 4 “common” top tier AGMs. Mavs are ok.

Wow, it’s almost like historically China didn’t have a military industry, and relied on other nations before being able to mass produce indigenous tanks and aircrafts.
How the hell does the LS6 500 even make it on the list with Kh-38 and AASM? Did someone take the cas monster comment seriously?
This is only a comparison of long Range AG weapon, not CAS weapon. The Grom2 is the most powerful, and it can fly 50km at an altitude of 4km. The LS6-500 can fly 60km at an altitude of 7km. The AASM250 is a little worse, I only tested 9km altitude can fly 55km.
Other than being in development, why is the AGM-187 denied for the F-18C? Seems like an arbitrary limitation when it would behave basically the same as Brimstone, so it’s not for balance purposes. The SU-30SM also gets Kh-38 without proof of them ever being mounted, AFAIK the double R-77 pylons are fake as well.

Hot take, KH38mts has no US ground counter. At least the Russian tree has the pantsir that can actively shoot down slow mavericks. You can sit there in an adats, see the KH38s launched and literally do nothing. They work through smoke so that’s not even an option. You go up in an eagle or falcon and you have to deal with both the fastest SAM, and a or multiple SU-xx at the same time. It’s pretty lop sided at the moment to be honest. The best US cas can do is try and scout the pantsir within 5 seconds of spawning, throw out multiple mavs and then hope to have enough time to deal with the air threat. It’s really not fun having to hug the ground and have no use of JDAMS and Paveways while the Russian equivalent has ample time to launch all of their ordinance.
That’s what current war thunder top tier basically looks like. I don’t think adding better ordinance is going to help the f-18 but I do think a dedicated 13.0 SPAA will change gameplay immensely
