I can make this exact same statement for the ET, but it’s an actually reasonable statement.
Almost guaranteed kill (R-27ER, provided the enemy doesn’t know how to defend) vs gamble gimmick missile (R-27ET) that gets defeated if a flare looks at it the wrong way

it didn’t get any of the weapons it was made to carry, not even those that it actually had, but rather one gen older
it’ll be like the Tech tree F-14B but at a BR where it will meet Undoubtedly OP Russian and Chinese Premium Su-30s against which it will stand no chance

it’ll be 13.3 like the others where it will be deleted by Su-30MKK and MK2 AMV every single match
its getting aim 9m, aim 54c+ (the + doesn’t do anything in 54c+ but its just named it no upgrades on the phoenix yet) and its 13.0 so it could stand a chance against the su 30mkk and amv variants if played right
