So a friend of mine bought the f18c Premium preorder, hoping it would have the modern f/a18c loadout ( ~ aim 120s, aim9ms and the several other missing weaponry from its loadout seen as of the dev server)
the description in the store didn’t really mention any BR and did not specifically mention aim 120s not being in the loadout capability. Not saying this is false advertising, this is just purely human error. now I wonder can gaijin support be contacted on this for a refund.
also do spread the word that this is in fact not a top top tier vehicle that uses fox 3 so this doesn’t happen to more people.

You and your friend must not have read the dev blog for the F/A-18 then, because it mentions under the F/A-18C late that it is the only one of the three American versions to get AMRAAMS.
Nowhere does the early mention the AMRAAM, so you should have been able to deduce that it wouldn’t get them.

I’m pretty sure on the store page too it says that it has Sparrows and Sidewinders
We did not, all we read was the section under the f/a18c early section and then proceeded to buying it, and what I meant is that there really isn’t a direct statement saying that it wouldn’t have aim 120s but yeah we were already under the presumption that the f18c disregarding early or not would have its full loadout.
Either way Its already been purchased and now I would like to know if the gaijin support would even process a refund for this.
Always read the store page and dev blog before you go buying anything.

Not saying something isn’t advertising at all, thus can’t be false.
If the information isn’t there then it’s not being advertised, and you should only ever purchase something with available information.
Your friend can refund his purchase if he’s upset about his purchase via contacting support so long as he doesn’t use the GE purchased, premium time purchased, or vehicle purchased on the live server.

It’s a learning experience, but honestly BR for BR it’s the best of the three
yeah I don’t doubt that it would be a good vehicle, those aim 7ps do seem like NATO r27ers, but its the historical factor that counts, when you think of a f18 you automatically go towards it carrying aim 120s.
dude was pretty upset about these top tier planes not yet having the aim 120 Cs so yeaaah
