F-86 Avon Sabre (CA-27 Mk.32) - Restoring the Fangs of Indonesia's Toothless Fighter

My bet Gaijin is going to add the Australian fighter just as they told us they will but also add the other two to the Japanese tree. (USA if there is a forum riot pls no) I hope they model the munitions and we just don’t get one with sidewinders and one without with no research into other munitions (Japans domestic saber had a experimental soviet style rocket pod). (UK) Australia could get two as there where the early ones without the wing slats and no sidewinders.

I would love the F-86 with no sidewinder just so I have a maneuverable low tier 30mm gun fighter / strike bomber.

So hopefully we see one or two F-86 in there.

That’s what I mean, Indonesia belongs in Japan because they’re there and shouldn’t be split up

yah I dont know where else they would put her. Maybe a united Korea tree but we dont have that and there are better nations for that.

The vehicle was just announced to be on works, barely out of the sketchboard and there’s already a gold mine for Gaijin to paste this around the tech trees. Definitely a no from me.

So make it an Aussie Ca-27 with an extra researchable item for the rockets that you can only use if you have the Indonesian skin selected.

TBH this option I’ve just pointed out here would get rid of so much C/P across the trees.

Why does “Copy paste” matter?

Indonesian modified CA-27 =/= Australian.

There is no C&P problem, its just the identity of these Nations and some users who can’t handle it.

But it’s not an Aussie Ca-27 is an Indonesian one

Aside from rockets, what REAL changes were made for Indonesia? New avionics, ejection seat, better radar, different mark of Avon?

I don’t think there is any but would be happy to be proved wrong thus its still the exact same Ca-27 just with rockets until proven otherwise. Pure CP in this game. No thanks.

Still it’s an Indonesian plane not an Australian one, and why is “C&P” so bad?

Far too much CP in game already.

I play WT for unique aircraft and armoured vehicles.

I have no interest in researching multiple Star Fighters, Sabres, Mustangs, Spitfires, M44s etc with no real differences bar skins or slightly different bomb/rocket/missile/bullet loadout placed in game by the Snail to pad things out.

Keep this airframe unique to Australia.

You can just skip researching and playing in the Indonesian F-86. That’s always an option for you.

It’s not that deep.

Then don’t play them if you don’t want to. And with the same logic and American can say “keep the Airframe unique to USA”

Okay but I play warthunder to “larp” as different nations with cohesive line-ups.

Other people play wt to play in vehicles that their homeland used.

Why are these reasons lesser to yours?

+1, this one would be a perfect representation of the late '70s Indonesian Air Force.

Indonesian pilot and voicelines, Indonesian vehicles in the same lineup and if you want to go for fully historic loadouts no missiles.

If it was just a new loadout for the Australian one then none of these would be possible, while if it’s simply added for Indonesia you always have the option to just not play it.
