It’s worse than some 13.0s, and it obviously needs to move down.
Honestly, I thought 12.7 would be fine, but then I felt bad for the F-14A :)
For an aircraft with only 45 countermeasures and 2 ARH AAMs, it deserves to be at 13.0 easily.
It should probably be even lower for Ground RB, given it needs to sacrifice its ARH AAMs to bring a viable CAS loadout. 12.0 or 11.7 should suffice easily.

But i agree kfir is superior. More ARHM + higher speed + better acceleration is better for Air RB.
The TH only gets a single 20mm, i wouldn’t really call it better then what the kfir has.

Before it was released I thought it would have 4 Derby and be 13.0.
A Kfir C10 counterpart just like the F-5E was to the MiG-21Bis.
While I agree it should be lower BR, I also do hope it gets more ARH missiles. Imho it should come in stock with 2x Python 3s (wingtip) and 2x Derby (underwing) so it actually fits the model of what planes above 13.0 get in stock. AIM-9Ms and extra Derbys should be researchable, but limiting such an aircraft in stock just to two non-IRCCM missiles and only 2x ARH when spaded is incredibly stupid at 13.3.
Moreover, its FM capabilities did not improve too much and only 1 gun limits the plane quite a lot. So it is really in need of adjustments.
Also kfir has AESA radar (like real AESA), when F5 has only top of the line Pulse-Doppler, so scanning rate and target updating is far worse in the F5, but both have HMD

Or best, give it python 4s so it can balance the poor flight performance and can stay in 13.3 or even can be pushed to 14.0
Idk why people is so obsessed with P4s. There is no way in hell a missile with about double the front apsect lock and almost unbypassable IRCCM with equal or better R-27ET flight performance should be added to the game right now.
It is fine if they add it with “gimped” seeker and R-27ET flight performance, but it is ridiculous why people want to push such a platform that can barely effectively surpass M1.1 to 14.x+ because “this missile should be the only distinguishing feature of this aircraft”.
If it is added in form of R-27ET sidegrade then yes, but wanting its full performance while maintaining such platform… hell no.
That’s how they should implement because we still got Python-5 on the line.
When next gen Ir missiles added Python-5 will be needed and 4 will become obsolete.
I mean, the AAM-3 is in game, and it’s performance if irl accurate is only slightly worse then a python-4
There really is no reason not to add the Python 4 with a nerfed seeker as the Python 5 exists which IRL is for the most part a seeker upgrade.
Yeah, but again, AAM-3 in game isn’t totally IRL accurate, and I am fine if the P4 is added in sort of gimped (AAM-3-like) condition, but not in the actual state as some players want them to.
NGL i feel like if they just gimped the seeker to current levels, people would find it agreeable enough. The reason people don’t want more modern missiles in game isn’t so much due to their off-boresight. Its the fear of them being undefeatable through flaring
Gaijin has already shown much willingness to gimp IRCCM, with stuff like the AAM-3 and PL-5EII. I have no idea why they have the python-4 ungimped in the files, when that’s all it would really take to bring it down.
Maybe they are just waiting untill closer to 5th gen IRs are added? Like even so i’d hope it’s IRCCM is gimped. But like, while their will be a few missiles somewhat close to it, it still will just be the best missile when it’s added, by a decently large margin over the generic top tier options like 9Ms or R-73s. So maybe they don’t want it to dominate for too long?
Could also just give it on the dev server to see how it plays out
