Hello! I’m BlitzMemes, and i would like to propose the inclusion of a special commemorative camouflage for the F-5E Tiger II representing the 401st Air Squadron of the Mexican Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Mexicana, FAM) in War Thunder. This design was used by the FAM to celebrate the squadron’s 43rd anniversary.

Roaring tiger on the tail, and the Squadron decal of the 401st Air Squadron

This camouflage for the F-5E features a artwork on the tail fin, a roaring tiger with fiery details, geometric background in orange, green and black tones, symbolizing the squadron’s nickname, “Los Tigres” (The Tigers)

Incorporates the Official 401st Air Squadron Insignia with Mexican motifs and colorful feathers at the base of the emblem, reflecting the rich culture heritage of Mexico.

43 years (43 Años) commemorative marking

At the front, it incorporates a commemorative “43 years” (43 años) marking, displayed alongside a stylized tiger claw on the forward fuselage, celebrating over four decades of service. The Tricolor camouflage pattern with a blend of green, brown and black covers the fuselage, and integrates with the special anniversary details.

+1 but would probably wait untill we get an F-5E with the dorsal fin extension in front of the tailfin, considering all F-5s currently ingame doesnt have that addition. Otherwise the detailing might get screwed over a bit around that area

The F-5E with a fin extension can be added as a separate vehicle in the US TT since even the American F-5E’s had MLU programs

True, but it can also be a great way of introducing new F-5Es w/ a new model to another tree so its not just a c&p, maybe for LATAM or ASEAN

Also fun fact: indonesian F-5Es also have that dorsal fin :D

Along with the that im pretty sure it has the W6 LEX as well, which is the only F-5E operator other than the Mexicans do have both the IHQ kit and the Dorsal Spine

Edit: im not so sure about the above statement any more. I’ve been looking at the aircraft themselves and i havent been able to convince myself 100%
