They just give off next to no heat signature in my experience… Even rear aspect 9Ps struggle to lock sometimes.
It’s bloody ridiculous that people are willing to argue in defense of this jet when its DM has been broken since release, its flight model outperforms even the best upgrades to the airframe, and it gets countermeasures it historically never mounted. It should really be at 9.7 with no CMs, as a near-direct counterpart to the Mitsubishi T-2/Early.

Honestly, only the F-1 can actually face targets where it could matter as far as i can tell. And while its neat, idk if its that high on the priority list to me anyways.
And the band is incredibly narrow between Radar missiles that you just turn to avoid, and PD guided Radar missiles. And that band is 11.0 (idk maybe some french jet has a useful missile but i dont see them much)
And at 11.0 you see the first PD radar missiles anyways.
So while id love for them to add it, id probably place many things as a higher priority.

no its better because the acceleration is better and the same with the manouverability you get. Its not magic like the Ki-200, but it is a rather nice plane
i dont know what kikka you were flying but in my experience i was quickly out speeded and out turned by me 262’s and barely could get rid of them by doing high G maneuvers (since people still doesnt know how to not lose control in these maneuvers)
i suppose stock that was the experience, but i also run with minimum fuel and 1 gun to maximise performance. Tho at least in case of the gun thats silly.
so when i ran stock i did everything to counteract the lack of upgrades.
Actually, the Ki-102 lacks a fair amount of things it got IRL. Even if we exclude the (missing) bombs, the interceptor version got turbochargers as its second stage.
Most of japan’s aircraft (and most WW2 fighters, for that matter) also lack drop tanks.
Allison P-40s lack the middle east deployment/australia mod where someone would remove the boost limit, allowing for up to 70" of boost.
J7W lacks a useable flight model.
Most Bf109s lack the radiator shutoff valves (available for the Es onward), which allowed the pilot to bypass a damaged radiator in-flight by flipping a valve, stopping the coolant leak.
A LOT of aircraft are missing fuel tank fire extinguishing systems, namely the N1K2-Js.
