AESA radar alone that you cannot notch nor chaff would be something to witness. The game very well may turn into the meta of terrain masking and popping up to fire off a Fox 3 (arguably already the case minus the Fox 3)

Q-5L had flares and not represented in-game
F-5C will probably never have its flares removed because of how much money it brings in.

Oh dude, I relate, F-5 shits on everything within its BR bracket, the only thing that holds a candle is the Mig23 thats a full br above the F-5. I am regularly dying in my flareless Jaguar GR.1 that also does not perform very well.
Also there are additional considerations considering it’s a purchased item. Downgrading a product after purchase would be illegal in many countries.

It’s fun to use with LGBs (even two is nice) and then fly back to base. But being unable to do anything about AIM-9L armed attacker premiums that get MORE LGBs (Looking at you, A-6E) isnt exactly fun
Gaijin do (or did) stipulate that products may be subject to change, and what you purchase isnt final.
You purchase the vehicle, not its current loads or BR rating.

If it gets flares, it should be at LEAST 10.7 compared to the 10.3 Mitsubishi F-1 with no flares…

So the same as the f5E
F-5C is 10.3 instead of 9.7 because of its flares.
F-1 has 4x AIM-9Js, vs F-5C’s 2x AIM-9Es.
