F-22 Raptor

I would like the GE in Nuke Thunder if it had better A2G ordinance…

Guess I have to wait for F-15E RMP or F-15EX, and until then I’m gonna stay using the F-16 PeakBIT.

okay so at least we can have f22 with 90 each so 180 total? which is really nice you can actually defend while flying away that if they even can track at such 50km+ while you already shot maybe aim260a ?and at 90 gimble guiding it its crazy compo specially how fast f22 is so f22 will be better Eurofighter they have same low speed low altitude acculturation but as far as i know and read f22 is much faster at high altitude thanks to 132 engine having excellent thrust curve at such heights

Probably not, unless you can convince gaijin to add the side arrays.

yeah cant wait for low fuel f22 aim9x Campo its going to be something else

we only can dream ayh ?download (2)

Maybe in terms of acceleration, FM, etc, but in terms of EW which i believe would come before F-22, EFT would be better which would be a good advantage for EFT

yes i mean in flight performance but the Eurofighter in game only need meteors and EW next gen ir missile and it would be really strong any era 5gen or 4.5 the one we have in game just lack next gen missile and EW and i guess the performance improvement kit when they finish developing that

Will be interesting but I doubt you want your F-22 in knife fight range. At that point you’re just hoping you don’t eat a 9X, ASRAAM, IRIS-T, Python4/5, MICA-IR etc etc. I’m fairly sure no flight model will survive contact with the next gen of IIR missiles. Best bet is to stay out of range.

There isn’t much saying the EFT has better EW. They focus on it more heavily in advertising but that’s about it

Speaking of IR, I wonder how good its IR signature reduction will be. Will be very important

Probably good enough to reduce the effectiveness of IRST systems at BVR ranges but at the ranges you fire IIR’s in LOBL modes not super useful.

I’d assume this shot is pretty close range from an IRST;

Spoiler

As you can see the aircraft skin heating is generating enough contrast for lock. And its from below the B.2 so we can’t see the engines just skin heating.

If it gets the IR signature reducing tech of the F-5C it will be immune to IR missiles

not AESA

iirc its PESA

maybe IRL (probably not though because iirc APG-77 is still larger and more powerful

but in game APG-63V3 on CGE is hilariously underperforming, especially in range where it is lower than IRL original APG-63 despite it having received multiple rounds of “range improvements” IRL

maybe he was talking about the future upgraded Su-35 with fixed aesa

but he was talking about it being a gimballed radar and AESA

If we’re going to be that meticulous, Irbis then even though it’s an PESA, it does contain AESA elements.

I mean

they stuck a radar the plane never used or was even planned to use into the SU-30SM2

so they 100% could add the side arrays for the F-22

I would rather they fix the SM2 to have the modernized N011R than keep adding ahistorical radars.

Nah not the same. Let’s not use this excuse to add things that never existed.

Su-30sm2 radar is still unknown, but we expect to be a extended range N011.
F22 side radar never existed and are only papers
