F-22 Raptor

rather later, there are a lot aircraft that would be added before the f22, go rather with the time frame of 2 years

I think you guys are being very optimistic with 1-2 years. I suspect not until 5-6 years.

5 years at 0.5BR additions a year, that’s BR 2.7, so 14.7 with current compression, which won’t exist 5 years from now, so an even higher BR.

True, but my guess for those aircraft is that they are going to be Rank 9 or Rank 10. Same thing with the F-14D, which will probably be a Rank 9 aswell.

F-14D won’t be rank 9, too low of a BR & still gen 4.
Gen 5 or very high BR is what I’m guessing for rank 9 if it happens.
But rank 10 is implausible. Not enough aircraft in existence for either BRs or generations.

But the F-15 is presumed to be coming out soon, likely chance being Rank 9. The F-14D came out in 1990 versus the F-15 came out in 1976 and the generations are to me a mix of skill and year of making

No, F-15 is coming at rank 8. There is no rank 9 coming this year.
F-14D would be rank 8 as well.
Rank 8 was just this year, we’re not even at gen 4.5 yet which will also be rank 8.

Best guess, next to be added, likely this september if it is the Fox 3 Update

US: F-15
GB: SHar FA2
Sweden: Gripen
Probably a USSR

I dont know my other nations too well. But it will be along those lines. I definetly see F-18 not that long after. Im hoping we’ll see an early/prototype Typhoon sooner rather than later. But I dont think we’ll see 4.5/5th gen for a while yet. There are too many holes in most nations to fill first. I could potentially see F-22 around the same time we see comparible late 4th gen and 4.5 gens. But not before.

Every nation needs some competitive to be added. BR and ranks are irrelevant when in my opinion, only nations with F-14,. F-16 or Mig-29 are currently competitive. Sweden, GB, France (maybe, no idea if the Mirage 2000 is actually anygood), need some love next update

Don’t be disappointed when F-15 doesn’t have ARHs.

Eh… Never gunna fly it anyway, im a Britain main. So long as I get my Sea Harrier FA2 with 9Ms and AMRAAM, then that will keep me happy till the Typhoon. (though wouldnt say no to seeing the Sea Harrier FRS1 and Tornado Gr1 finished, but its been 9 months now, so im kinda loosing hope on that front)

2778 kmh=!2.25M, this 2.6M

there are people who still believe in this nonsense

firstly, the detection range is not considered so.A is calculated by the formula

Huh?

For ussr there is SU 33, Su35, SU47(as a premium), Mig25, mig35, etc…

in the text where Rr

Its rumored not to be a real stealth jet.

not to point a finger at you but i feel some of these stats are… shall we say… untrue

Well that’s true. Although I’ve never heard it from a Russian.

Structural features of it that reflect back radar waves are the flat ducted engine compressor fans (allegedly directly exposed from the front).
otherwise, the structure is according to stealth design philosophy. The IRST rear face being spherical jeopardises it a bit but I cant say how much.

It should also be known that there isn’t a production line for the 57 yet, and if it is put into production, we can expect a the current version 1/block I to have factory applied RAM (Radar Absorbent Material coatings, depending on how good they are, it will be stealth despite anti Russian claims and desires. It would also cover the famous ‘loose and open screws and rivets’ on the fuselage.

If a block II is considered, these issues would be ironed out by designing a Trianguloid IRST rear face and hiding the ducted compressor blades via offsetting the air intake ducts

On stealth/5thgen subject, it is possible to see:

USA: F-22 +F-35

Germany: F-35

Russia: Su-75 + Su-57

U-K : F-35

Japan: F-35 + KAI KF-21 Boramae as premium/sub TT

Italy: F-35

France : nothing i can think of (even by adding some other TT into it,… Belgium? For both F-35 and Alphajet,… → seems sad)

Chinese: J-20 + J-31

Israel : F-35
