Could the F-20 receive the AIM-120A’s in a near future update because of the new dynamic BR’s as it could carry them.

No the F-20 cannot receive the AIM-120 because those aren’t even inert missles but actually mockup pieces used to show potential export customer that it “may” receive the ability to use them in the future.
Anyway the bigger issue is that when those pieces were attached and shown off the AIM-120A, at that point, wasn’t even produced and wouldn’t be for a few years after. To further that point the F-20 project was cancelled BEFORE the AIM-120A came into production; when those mockups were attached it’s possible not even the design for the missles was finalized.
We should not give planes, especially cancelled planes, missles that didn’t exists in their lifespan
They’re as real as the ones on the F-16XL, so why the hell not.
I can dig for it, but I swear Smin did once acknowledge that it can be added and wasn’t for the sake of BR and balance. With the Bison going up, this very well could as well.
This is a weapon the aircraft was intended to carry after all, I wouldn’t mind it getting them with split BRs.

With the dynamic BR’s I don’t see why they should not. Plenty of examples of jets using having stuff in game that they never actually used. Like the yak141 didn’t even have a radar.
But I think it will probably not get them anytime soon because gaijin will prefer that people buy the new premium f-18 for example. Adding fox3 options to old premiums will probably hurt their future sales.
