I was speeding a bit (like mach 1.3) on a dive so my wings got cooked but it pulled up like a cobra and tore my wings off with 29gs
you will love how Gajin will hopefully model x-31 and f-15 active and that more likely f16 with canards or F-4 with canards but I suppose Gajin calls f16XL balanced because its like a JF-17 but with huge wings and aim120s with a J-10 hump
You can casually pull like 18-20G in full controls with no issues in a simple horizontal turn if you have like 15min of fuel or less. If you sustain 20G for more than like 3s it will rip.
its great but also annoying peak for bullet hell bad when my crew for it is only level 10

AOA button is horrible with mouse aim because it makes the ailerons do wayyy too much
but the 16XL flies like it has AOA button toggled on perma anyways lol
If you control it by just not aiming too much outside of the current flight vector you avoid pulling excessive AoA.
What I don’t like about the F-16XL handling is that it has the same rudder problems as the typhoon, you need to keep correcting it with your own roll inputs to avoid it, very annoying at high speeds because it makes you lose energy for no reason if you don’t correct it
Tip: Hold C while notching instead of using keyboard input while not holding C
makes you fly more efficiently and wobble less
What you mean? My C is free look camera. Idk if thats the default because most of my binds are not default.
But I often fly with just the keyboard to look around if that’s what you mean

I’m assuming you’re trying to notch visually while just pointing your mouse at the enemy and controlling with keyboard.
That makes your airframe really flop around as the game swaps between mouse control and kb control

No… I also notch like that, and do all kinds of defensive maneuvers the same way.
I meant that when you use mouse aim with the typhoon and you don’t want to just mash the “pitch up” bind to turn, the aircraft wobbles constantly outside of the bank angle you previously set. The F-16XL has the same behaviour, it’s more noticeable at high speed, like in a crank manoeuvre.
