as long as SU33 is 13.0 i dont think its unfair honestly aim120 with buns 9l doesnt justifiy raised br as theres a plane called the F4F ICE which is just as good in most aspects same br with 4X AIM-9L/I and 4 X AIM-120

AIM-120A is still the closest thing to the R27ER so id say its fair since the SU33 has double the missiles

the 4 Aim 120s and your gun are your only way your getting kills and the SU30MKK is just straight up better at 13.3 aswell less a problem of the F16XL being op more of gaijins infinite compression model

AIM-120 absolutely justifies raising BR. There are no other jets as capable as the F-16XL at 13.0 with fox3s. Every single fox3 jet at 13.0 is crippled massively in some way or another except for F-16XL.

It’s a decently fast aircraft that carries the same armament as the XL and has a shit load of countermeasures and it’s only negative is that is it’s an 11.3 airframe and a bad RWR.
Harping on dogfighting performance makes absolutely no sense when the way you’ll use both aircraft are effectively the same.

I legitimately cannot see how a good FM with absolutely middling weapons puts this thing on-par with the F-4F ICE or the new Greek Phantom, or the Su-30mkk

The Phantoms’s lack of maneuverability is made up for the 4 extra AIM-9Ms and they both carry a better ground payload, and 30 extra counter measures conpared to the XL

I have more matches getting clobbered by missiles than actually getting into turning fights.

The F-16XL is literally just a US version of the JA-37DI. If it gets moved to 13.3, it needs an armament buff as AIM-9Ls are simply not doing the trick, and have it carry 6 AMRAAMS instead

This made sense with moving the F-15A back up as most of your enemies didn’t have ARH missiles so you still got into one-on-one engagements often, where the F-15A basically just clobbered everyone mixed with good weaponry.

Every time you aggressively run to the notch, recommit and repeat (usual fox3 jousting), the Viggen loses an insane amount of energy, and becomes an easier target.

The F-16XL not only does it much faster, but it barely loses energy in comparison, and has tall vertical ACM to help, so you don’t need to point the nose, unlike the Viggen (neither have HMD)

BTW, what are you guys’ win rates on the F-16XL?

I’m not far from finishing the stock grind. My KDR is pretty decent, but my WR is like 30% lol. Usually the US team gets decimated by the Su-30’s.

If I am with 30% WR I wonder what the average player does with the 16XL, that might stop the 16XL from going up in the short term, till the US noob teams rotate out of their new F-14’s and F-16XL’s
