F-16I Sufa: The Negev Storm

But
‘The presence or absence of supplies is irrelevant. Only the technical feasibility of using the weapons matters.’

Thats how Malaysian Su30 get KH-38 lol

It seems like they removed the ability to use the 16 spice with the targeting pod from the gripen. Which means that you either need to use the not so good one from the bombs themselves and you cannot take the brimstones or you take the targeting pod and you can “only” take 8 spices with 6 brims and 3 GBU 49
Edit: They reverted the changes just a few days after this post was made

Another update where the Sufa’s cockpit RWR continues being broken

How long until this is addressed? I’ve made three reports already about this very issue yet no reply.

This is quite frustrating.

Isn’t it fixed now?

110 days of the F-16I’s fuel consumption being literally unplayable.

How is it unplayable? I find it to be alright in general, never really had a problem with it despite just running a basic fuel load + CFT’s.

Uh… It swallows twice the fuel it’s supposed to?

Can you tell me what part of an F-16 burning through the same amount of fuel as an F-15 makes sense?

It’s a lot better now that they fixed the whole CFTs having 18x more drag than a 370l tank issue, but it still doesn’t change the fact that a -229 shoudn’t have +90% more fuel burn than a -129.

190% fuel consumption of GE129?
Thats crazy

Yeah, over 1000kg/min of fuel while the F-16C-50 barely scratches 550.

As bonkers as it is, don’t you manage fuel? How is it unplayable?

You get 1 minute and 50 seconds of usable fuel with full internal tanks.

Try “managing” around that.

1 min 50 seconds full afterburner?
As well as what is it with external?

Btw im actually asking here cause it reminds of like when the JF17 was added
1 minute and 50 seconds on internal fuel only full reheat ? Feels like a recurring problem from tree to tree with certain planes

also its easy to manage around it, bring external fuel tanks, use them until in combat and drop em or burn em off, then don’t go ham on the throttle.
Not ideal but not unplayable

I just tested Sufa in test drive with full internal fuel and CFT’s, the problem you’re mentioning didnt occured during my test flight.

Fuel consumption looked pretty normal.

The F-16I Sufa needs more weapon hardpoints, particularly more AAM slots (8 instead of the current 6). The aircraft is currently underwhelming and can’t compete with other fighters at its BR, so these upgrades would at least make it viable. Also, it should support carrying 16x 250lb bombs instead of just 8x 250lb, plus have access to larger ordnance similar to the Gripen’s 16-bomb loadout.

it cant have 8 AAM slots Irl tho

I’d say gaijin should provide superior missiles like AIM-120C7 or I-Derby ER ahead of other toptier jets.

it cant have I-Derby ER aswell, but they could pull the Yak-141 tho

Even Python-4 would’ve been huge upgrade but we know what Gaijin thinks about this.
