On paper it could carry Derby / Derby ER / Python 5/4 … gaijin could add it to balance out.
it had more engine thrust historically
it used Python 5s, but ill take 4s atm for “bAlaNcE” sake .
It used more stuff , and we probably wont see it any time soon.
Gaijin want “balance” but only balancing what ever they benefits from.
Sufa in 14.0 with this kinda load-outs and performance is a joke lol
Sadly they probably dont have classified information like they have on The Rafale and MICA-EMs
After some discussions here in the forum, I now know that various items have been programmed disastrously. For example, external fuel tanks currently have almost no lift resistance.
I’ll simply quote “HighRiskNoReward” from another thread:
The issue is that external fuel tanks have essentially no drag, a small IR missile has 28x the drag of a external fuel tank in game
Then we have stuff like the AGM-65 maverick having having 5x LESS drag than an AIM-9. This means that the pylon with 3x mavericks has less parasitic drag than a simple sidewinder missile.
And every air to air missile has the same parasitic drag. So a tiny R-60 has the same parasitic drag as a phoenix missile.
Well theres only a picture of the f16i carrying the gbu 39 on its inner pylon
I haven’t found any other docs stating that its has ever carried the 16 spice 250 configuration neither have i found any picture of it
So idk
It does make sense that Gaijin wants absolute confirmation that the specific type of plane can carry the weapon in said quantity. And im really glad that they dont play favourites and always follow that rule. /s
The mock up doesnt really prove anything and even if the brochure says it can why isnt that showcased on a fonctionnal aircraft
For gaijin to accept the bug report they would need a doc stating that it was actually equiped and tested or at least mounted on the jet
