The tier 4 engine upgrade for the Squadron OCU in the french tree is 4x the research cost of the tech tree one, coming in at 100,000 RP. The fact that its been at this cost for TWO YEARS is just absurd. You can research 1/4 a whole plane for a upgrade that even 14.7s get at 21-26k rp. I dont care that its the only upgrade at its tier, Its been years, please change.

That’s my issue though, its not a good way to plan the plane because its such a immense grind for something that’s not even close to justifying the cost. They could have moved down the Nords or moved up the aim 9s, certainly not things that are worth, but could spread out the cost.
Mmh no, it’s not wrong. On the bottom right of every plane you can see the total amount of rp needed to fully unlock all the modules. Tier IV module line requires a total of 100k rp divided among all the modules of such line. That plane has just one module so you have to research all the 100k. Not wrong, not absurd, just math.
Nothing is wrong, every row costs a certain amount of RP and its divided evenly among all mods in that row.
1 single mod, that mod costs the full amount.
if you look at an equivalent BR aircraft and add up the cost of its T4 mods, it will come to the same total
For example. Typhoon has 4x T4 mods and they cost 26k each. Rafale has 2x T4 mods and they cost 52k each. But both cost 104k for the entire row
