i see

Why even add local telemetry and not allow to use it?

So basically my report is merely a suggestion or a source of info.

And Gaijin may not bother making changes since my report doesn’t sufficiently prove the ingame data wrong.

@Gunjob Hey there Gunjob, if you see this would you plz check this report out?

Don’t know if this is a coding issue or is done deliberately by Gaijin.

Well that’s Goooooood news

Event vehicle with gimped loadout spotted Xd.

Question, where does the Belgian F-16AM store the 120 internal countermeasures. AFAIK, there’s two AN/ALE-47 dispensers on the fuselage, which should give it maximally 60 countermeasures. (though the configuration on the model would only suggest 45)

Most likely either 3D model is wrong or gaijin hasn’t fixed the amount yet.

3D model copy-paste issues probably

been a year lmao, the model of BAF F-16AM and A are the same, but on the fuselage there’s this weird AN/ALE-47 configuration: 15 large calibre, 30 default. mind you, the A has 60 ig, and the AM has 120…

Did Gaijin just randomly model the mass of M61A1/A2 Vulcan and match them randomly to whatever jet?

F-2A: M61A2 (512 Rounds)-103kg
Super Hornet: M61A2(412 Rounds)-103kg
F-16AJ: JM61A1(512 Rounds)-500kg
Netz Mod: M61A1(512 Rounds)-230kg
F-16CM-50: M61A1(512 Rounds)-368kg
F-15A/C: M61A1(940 Rounds)-368kg
etc

After checking the datamine, this is how Gaijin matches the M61s to these jets(speculation)

F-2A/SuperHornet -cannonm61a2.blkx
F-16AJ -cannonjm61a2.blkx
Netz Mod -cannonm61a1.blkx
F-16CM-50 -cannonm61a1_pgu_28.blkx
F-15A/C -cannonm61a1_pgu_28.blkx

Whether featured in pgu28 or not, the bullet data is alike:

“mass”: 0.10166,
“caliber”: 0.02,
“speed”: 1030.0,
“maxDistance”: 6250.0,
“Cx”: 0.46,

Exception: cannonjm61a1.blkx/cannonjm61a2.blkx

“mass”: 0.09962,
“caliber”: 0.02,
“speed”: 1030.0,
“maxDistance”: 6250.0,
“Cx”: 0.45,
(While cannonjm61a1_pgu_28.blkx follows the original one)

Haven’t acquired a objective evaluation on the combat effectiveness of PGU-28 rounds, however, based on the above info, there’s trivial difference.

Don’t know whether these gun values effect the flight performance of a certain airframe, if they do, F-16 based lightweight jets may be impacted a bit more.

To sum up, SO MANY of variations on weight of a gun that doesn’t have many different configurations(F-16 versions mostly in this topic) is definitely incorrect, may be a bug, or Gaijin does it on purpose for balancing.

It had premium potential. Now useless. Sad.

they don’t, only external (gun pods like the f-4c’s vulcan for example) gun masses count towards aircraft mass in-game
