Looks like it’s going to be a long wait fellas :/
They just love screwing over Israel. Could be microaggression. Consistent pattern could be proven with statistics if anyone felt so inclined.
Popeyes needs a mention in the mean time. 76km range with IR guidance, pretty much what a certain su25 can use.
a popeye is 50 mile air to ground cruise missile, a KH38 is a as stat card says 40km and as you said usually less then 20km missile.
let me translate that for you, your argument is that because Russia gets 6 missiles that go 20km you want a missile that can go 80 km, that is the most ridiculous bull I have ever heard.
SAMs have a chance at the 20km missile, they aint have a chance in hell if you are even 60km away bro, and you want one that goes 80km+ depending on the source, 80km was the lowest I found out of all the sources, most say 88km…
If that isn’t an argument then I do not know what is
popeye might be 50mile a2g missile but in game its limited by ground lock to 20km
in the files? cause its not in game right now, as far as I know.
a2g weapons cant be locked further than 20km in game
as far as i know you can lock it, the sight stabilization is bugged at 20km.
The Popeye isn’t a Cruise missile, it’s considered an Air-to-Surface missile designed for precision strikes, it’s a Stand-Off missile with a shorter range than a traditional Cruise missile, it lacks the longer range and autonomous navigation associated with traditional cruise missiles. Also to add another thing, the KH38 has a range of 40km in game, but it has a range of 70-120km On paper, while the Popeye has a operational range of only 78, But gaijin chose to make its max range 40km, If they can do that to the KH38, They can do that to the Popeye missile
I might not worried if gajin delay domestic israel guided Air-to-Ground munitions until the winter major update this year for F-16C/D Barak and F-15I Ra’am
But want change target designer pod instead LANTIRN AN/AAQ-14 for F-15I Ra’am in this major update
Bro, if you look up the KH38 the only source I found saying 70+ is Wikipedia, almost every other source says 20-40km. sadly I can’t find a manual on it for the actual range.
I stand corrected, but at the same time, calling it a cruise missile was kinda crazy, anyways off that topic, don’t you think that Russia being the only country having That type of standoff munition in game seems really unfair
Anyway I’d take SPICE 2000 over Popeye
I know it’s not a cruise missile, but it might as well be one for this game since it will outrange everything by double compared to anything we have.
I think it’s not balanced, but if that is the worst balance problem we have, I’d take it over without possibly quadrupling the range, only making the issue bigger.
I’m down with SPICE 2000
Not Popeye
I definitely understand that, but even if they did add the Popeye for Israel, the F15-I would only get 2 of them,
Russia not only has 4 KH38MT’s on the SU25SM3 which is already a problem, But now the SU34 coming to the game Will have 6, is that not a huge problem
it is when you fly back to your airfield take off fire 2, land take off fire 2 land, take off fire 2 and land, before that same Sukoi gets a chance to fire its 6 without getting SAMed at the same time, while you are completely safe.
I 100% rather the Spice 2000/1000 over the Popeye but I just thought that one country getting that type of FNF munition with 40+ km of range is blatantly unfair
agreed, 40km is broken, but in-game it holds the energy for at most 30 but most of the time 20km, vs a popeye that has a constant burn to the target for 70km
And to make it worse, you can tell gaijin had no idea what they where doing when they decided to add the Grom1 while no other country had any type of counter, it’s crazy man but I just hope they do something
