Did a little dig at contact-1. Not a ton so take it at a grain of salt.
It’s 1-3 years newer. But they differ enough though that it isn’t a rip-off. Though they did use stuff learned from israel and the 1982 lebanon war for the development of contact-1. But it wasn’t finished before israel had already deployed it and used it at war.
From what I’ve read, contact 1 was made in 1982 and put into service 1985, and was a seperate development from Israeli blazer ERA. However soviets made and tested ERA in the 60’s but never put it into service
A good example is ussr with its 4x and 6x of Kh-38 on jets, with 40km range, while we can get as far as 30-35km away from points in grb at maximum in few maps. (usually its even less then 20km)
I’m sorry, but its not an argument against introduction of this type of munitions at all. We already have same weapon from the game perspective on live servers.
It did. It could carry two of them, one per underwing pylon. Bad thing is its not allowing you to use a2a missiles on a same pylon with gbu-15. So, if you use, for example, 20x sdb + 2x gbu-15, youre not allowed to take any a2a missiles at all.
people are not really understanding how inferior F-15I in game compared to F-15E. On American version you can get just 6x mavericks and 8x of a2a missiles so you’ll get awesome multirole setup while being light. Israeli version only have gps and laser bombs + two ir-bombs which is significantly decreases its air-to-air capabilities while being no match for agm-65s. And the funny thing we still dont have good top-tier attacker like F-16C b50 or jas-39: with good targeting pod and fnf a2g missiles… While playing every single match vs ussr.
