You don’t need it as much as Israel does be honest
Personally I think they wasted their Time with the ex when they could’ve added something better like HVSD/ADAMS or invested more time in dynamic BRs

Golden Eagle only has AESA + AIM-120D and very limited air to ground. F-15E has no AESA and is heavily air to ground. F-15EX has both. A very linear upgrade, gasps, just like the F-15IA is to the F-15I

Israel doesn’t have the GE so aesa and 120D is out of the window
F15E has jsow , agm130…etc that f15i doesn’t have ans honestly it should receive ROCKS agm and other things that it currently doesn’t have it has less ground capability compared to the E
While both don’t have aesa you have the GE to compensate for that and Israel will soon have the IA for that
So really they’re very minor things that gaijin didn’t need to waste their time and effort on
Oh also the GE also gets 12 missiles something f15i can’t do so if you think about it Israel needed it more and the EX is actually a waste of time and effort that could’ve been put into something more unique and productive and useful
