Well, the F-15E Suite 7 and beyond get JHMCS, AIM-9X, AIM-120D, AIM-7P, AN/APG-83(V)1. So we’re a little far off from that. But a quick Suite 5 or 6 would grant capabilites on par with future aircrafts.
Not a bug.
I swear to God…
Also read “Issue is known and already forwarded as a suggestion.”
no, that’ll prob be december or update after that
we already got 73s and micas lmao
Tbh 9X has way better seeker
Everyone else gets gimped kits too, so we’re good yeah?
true, but i mean we’re not too far away from dual IRCCM, like shutter and dual band which is fucking crazy good
Dev got updated and the F15E still has 220 engine instead of the 229. This is ridiculous.
Smin just confirmed that we’re getting the 229s on the other 2 F-15E posts
Do we possibly get lightning 2 pod now?
That hasn’t been confirmed yet, but there’s a few accepted bug reports out on it only having the lantirn, so we may possibly get the litening or sniper, most likely litening
How exactly? it has the same motor as the AIM-9M
R-73, MICA
all IR missiles can do the same irl including R-3S because they just need to track a heat signature
Even the block 2 still has the same motor as the AIM-9M and the ability to lock on at longer ranges with data link isn’t going to magically increase the missile’s kinetic range. period.
Raytheon and the Navy are saying it is capable of limited BVR. Don’t know what to tell you. Maybe they decreased the missiles drag who knows.
I also find it interesting the 9X range is marked classified.
But the 9M isn’t.
They did something to decrease the drag.
It’s a possiblity, only the last 11 Block 49 and beyond got the 229. The Later Block 49s were more adjacent to the F-15E Suite 5 which did have the advanced targeting pods. But that was the later Suite 5s. The Later Block 49s, and early new Suite designation Suite 5 only had the LANTIRN, the SNIPER and more advanced pods were introfuced in 2004-2005 I think.
Exactly, that was what I was think.
Plus they can give the A10C it’s Snipers pod so it can run the 6 agm 65D, with its pod.
