F-15E: The Strike Eagle

US used both the 220 and 229 on the F-15E.

I assume they don’t want it to be the “go to” fighter over the F-15C, which already is the strongest top tier in the game by a decent margin.

Oh really? Lmfao that’s hilarious nvm then

“Here you go, US; here’s one of the best strike fighters ever made. Small note, it won’t have the correct engines, weapons, or radar. Because ummmm….balance. Yeah balancing reasons.”

It’s just old at this point, really.

It’s a shame they’re allergic to adding stuff properly

It’s already the most powerful plane in the game. But yeah, let’s make it the absolute newest variant, so it’s that much more OP.

The Israelis get an F-15C with -229s.

It does have the correct engines, weapons, and radar though?

What engines is it supposed to have, if not -220s?
What weapons is it missing that currently fit into the game?
Is the AN/APG-70 not the correct radar…?

The F-15E? It’s not even in the game yet. I’d hardly say the F-15C is, especially not in Air Sim.

Sure, yeah, but it’s about to be

And in ARB, at least, the F15C is definitely the most capable all-around jet.

The US one has -220s in it, Israeli has -229s.

Can the F-15E equip the EPAWSS already or is it just the F-15EX and the advanced eagles?

It wouldn’t be able to carry either AIM-120s nor a TGP without the CFTs.

F-15Es can as a modification, while the 15EX has it from production.

As of now, it’s only been retrofitted for the past handful of years. Putting EPAWSS on a 1989 F-15E would be a pretty bad decision.

Fair enough. It would be cool tho to see the Sniper on it aswell as the 229’s

the F15I has the 229 but no maverick.

Ok. The E does not have the 229

And it’s not getting the 229s, why?

Because gaijin really wants the first production model (probably)

Theres no reason for the American F 15E to not have the 229 engines
