ok, post a video of you doing that in adats, if we compare things, pantsir can easily fend all missiles in game kh38 included, not to mention guide multiple missles ON DIFERENT targets, while adats cant even properly lock a kh38, not to mention the missle is way worse that of pantsir.

My views on this is that CAS shouldn’t get any more capabilities than it already has, and it doesn’t need more advantages.

Also its false saying it take minute to reach 20km lol, mt can easily fly 20km in 30-40 seconds, im not surprised people defending kh38 not knowing anything about it. Go on, take su34 and prove me wrong, bcs every time i use it, it takes 30-40 seconds on 20 km range

And from what I’ve heard, any semi decent top tier cas player will be unkillable.

Does that mean it would just glide towards the designated gps point untill it can look out per TV for a enemy on its own? If yes then i think it would be Really strong. Id even say op

Exactly, that is however a function that is intentionally not in game yet, it was even omitted from the new brimstone missiles that has it IRL just because its way to OP.

That has basically nothing to do with the discussion, you are now comparing two SPAA instead of two ordinances. What i’m saying is both SPAA will handle the two ordinances the same way respectively. So the Pantsir would handle the KH-38MT and the AGM-130 about the same effectiveness, but with a bit less time to react with the KH-38MT (and same with ADATS, if it struggles with KH-38MT it will also struggle with the AGM-130). The biggest difference would be the safety distance, in clear weather both can be launched outside of reach of SPAA, but if the AGM-130 has all its capabilities added it will always be able to clear that safety distance no matter the weather and by a WIDE margin.

KH-38MT MAX speed mach 2.2 (~700km/s) so 30 seconds for 20km if max speed the entire way (which it will NEVER achieve, take any game you have played with it and look at the sensor view to get an estimate of average speed of the missile when launched in different conditions). I do not personally have access to to it yet so cannot speak from experience, only generalized fact about all missiles as a whole.

Thats what im saying, i main ussr too, and literally no one killed me with missles in ages, only a really good playing cas that pull really fast boom and zoom have a chance to kill pantsir, or if the map is good for suden attacks

I agree than having really advanced missle/bomb would not make curent state of game better, but why not add it like brimstones? Make it lock tv/ir just from far away (how much it have irl, probably like 10km, like ir we have right now) and postpone the gps guidence of it if its too broken, at least that way we would get something better than mavericks that take ages to reach anything past 10 km

The GBU-15 bomb has a max release of mach 1, the AGM-65 has a max speed of mach 1.2, so it wouldn’t really be an improvement.

Well it will fly faster to the target, problem with bombs and mavericks is that they are really slow and easy to react, but the agm130 at least will have less time to react to, not much, but something

Well maverick also have insanly high drag and will mostly miss if target is above 10 km and move

This is probably one of the most tone deaf replies I’ve seen in quite a while.
Your reply is completely ignoring the fact that your SPAA is in danger of ground fire, that there are probably more than 1 enemy plane in the air and that there are eventually helicopters in the air as well.
Top Tier Ground is just Air RB with additional ground targets…

I doubt that the GBU-15 with added booster will behave any differently. its at the same approximate speed and has the same IR tracker (literally, they just took the seeker of the AGM-65D and glued it to the tip of a bomb) but the bomb weighs about 3-4x as much which means its going to take a lot more force to change the trajectory, so given the sizes of the fins i’m even guessing that the GBU-15 should turn even slower at the same speed as the AGM-65.

I have no numbers on engine of that thing, but can say for sure, anything is faster than maverick lmao, especially new gbu39 glide bombs
