I’ve just unlocked the F-15E, and with custom loadouts, I’m unable to use Flares/Chaff. The countermeasure slider doesn’t show in a game or in a test flight.
It will work with the preset loadouts, but I’m not gonna use the AIM-9L over the free AIM-9M I can use right now. lol
Create a loadout then…
Am I not clear enough? Custom loadouts show the countermeasures as empty in-match. It’s in the custom loadout. I’ve researched Chaff, I’ve tried mixing the free bombs, fuel tanks, and even created a loadout with ONLY the countermeasures and still empty in-match.
Could be the bug…
Have you deleted all created presets and restarted the game?
Then start fresh?
And I did indeed have a little difficulty understanding your first post. My bad.
I have deleted the created loadouts and remade them with no luck. But I tried to close the game and reopen it, and it didn’t work. HOWEVER, after the second exit and reopening, it somehow works now.

It’s a general bug with “add-on” countermeasures.
When unlocking the modification, you have to do the following in-order:
1- Delete all presets you made.
2- Restart game.
3- Create new presets.
The devs are working on a fix. Hopefully the fix occurs as soon as possible.
I knew it has to be bug. this happened in my Gripen.
Did you unlock the chaff modification?
Happened to me as well whenever I unlocked BOL rails.
Usually the fix is remaking loadout and restarting game as you’ve said
