Why did the I get a smaller drag coeff nerf than the E though? Shouldn’t it be the same
Fuselage zero lift drag coeff
I tested it in test flight,i got wing overload at 10k altitude after 2.5 match. After 2 match the acceleration will be going slower, and after 2.5 match i think it takes maybe 20 km dist to reach 3400 kmh. But you cant, by wing overload+ the maps are very little.
GBU-15 says hello
512 rounds is not even close to 1000;
What?
The only AMRAAMs it can mount are the -120C & -D’s due to the reduced space available in the internal bay, requiring the use of Clipped Surfaces and Fins, not that a -120C-3 is otherwise that different to the already implemented AIM-120B.
Also the F-22 Is only able to load the -9X, not the -9M, it entered service in 2005 post dating the introduction of the basic AIM-9X, before that it would have been tested with the AIM-9R / Box Office prototypes, that eventually became the -9X
The F-22 also has access to the JDAM and assorted stores that can be loaded onto the BRU-61 (e.g. SDB-I, SDB-II & AGM-187A and other UAI certified stores(e.g. SPEAR 3) are a software update away)
Hahahahah
A & B are usable on the external stores.
C up until 4 or 5 has no upgraded range apparently.
And F-22 used 9Ms for two of its bay store positions, and external stores.
It is 9X capable, but that won’t be in War Thunder for a while regardless.
So yeah, it’s using weapons already in game outside its AESA radar, and its defensive stealth capabilities which are the two things that will dictate its BR more than anything else.
I think we can see F-22A at the earliest later next year.
A stealth AESA F-15C.
It’ll totally outclass the F-15 in flight performance, as much as I love F-15s they don’t have a chance against the 22 in a dogfight
Don’t forget the LPI properties of said radar, a select few RWRs (late British variants are confirmed) will be able to provide info that one is active (they detect change / spike in background energy over time), with no other info about direction or state.
And with an RCS at least a magnitude better than the F-117, you are looking at very short tracking distances(1/10th that of the F-117), even if able to be detected, which will massively reduce the risk of Fox-3’s. and IRST / EOTS systems don’t currently have the ability to support radar missiles (slave radar to Sensor LoS). It would only really be able to be engaged by longer ranged IR missiles (R-27ET / MICA-IR etc.), and with decoys and advanced Countermeasure formulations it should be able to deal with those handily.
It will be even less so if they overhaul IR signatures to decouple them from Thrust output of the engines.
Cry more, looks like a FnF weapon to me
Anyone know how to stop the lantirn tgp on the f-15e from slaving to radar?
It got nerfed, so they could add F-15E before F-111 or just remove it lol
just let the whiners keep whining.
Turn off the radar.
It is, but it would be disingenuous to suggest it’s anywhere near the capability of an AGM (never mind the X6 of them the E can carry).
You also have to sacrifice four AAM’s to carry just two of them.
I never suggested it was. Just that he was full of BS
Only because it is not the clipped wing GBU-15 which is capable of carrying 120s with it.
The drag and thrust change hit live. After some tests, the F-15E now seems a lot closer to the chart you posted there.
