maybe the quad racks then
not quad racks you are talking about the extra double pylons that can be mounted instead of drop tanks on the wing pylons

I knew the aesa radar and the link 16 upgrades were implemented but I never heard it referred as Golden eagle. Good to know
There is no quad rack. It is sta 1/8 pylon from 15EX on F-15C
A very easy way to see if a F-15C is a golden eagle or not is the cockpit. This is the cockpit of the Golden Eagle:

It’s not entirely hopeless to get this implemented. We just need to find proof that this specific double rack mounting on these stations from the F-15C 2040C was brought to the Golden Eagle since we already know that the Golden Eagle can’t use the additional stations from the F-15EX. That’s it.
From what I found, that wasn’t the case. But I’m always open for correction, especially if it can help buff the Eagle, one of my favorite plane ever.
I don’t know, I don’t want to do it anymore. Well. What’s the point if they don’t want to copy LJdam-er for a few patches? Ever since the introduction of the F-15A, they have ignored the existence of the BOL on it.
For some reason, I’m sure there’s no point in trying.
if this is added then the F15C GE will be worthy of sitting at 14.3
Current F15C GE is just copy and paste F15C but 0.7 BR higher just because.
Yea it would be nice to not hold back and being able to spam counter measure as much as I want but F15C GE has no real upgrade over the normal F15C at all. Period.
0.7 BR higher just for extra CM? I’ll stick to the normal F15C, thanks.
Not sure why you’re attacking people for researching MRMLs and seeking cooperation, but you do you.
We don’t know if this F-15C GE can or cannot use them.
That’s why we’re looking for information.
I didnt, you just dont know how to read basic text.
I’ll personally switch to the F-15C GE if they buff it a little more, but only because I hate using mechanical radars after I’ve had a taste of AESA.
we do know F15Cs can use them, otherwise the air national guard wouldnt want to order them for their f15Cs
and we know that it doesnt involve modifications because there is no mention of funding to modify the f15Cs so they can use them
Then why are you attacking me with off-topic nonsense?
Notice how I said in that post you quoted that I’m looking for proof of older versions OR F-15C GE itself.
Su-30SM is a newer version of the Flanker than Su-35 by at least 3 years.
If I opposed that evidence, I’d need explicit evidence of F-15C GE, Su-30SM, etc rather than being able to utilize older versions as evidence.
The only thing I can’t use with either are F-15E and Su-34 as those are too drastic of differences.
@Alpharius11348
That’s speculating… I wish it was knowing, but I need more information.
Standard MSIP II using them, F-15C GE using them, Boeing or whoever else clearing their use on MSIP II and GE in an official legal document. Anything close for me to cling onto as evidence.
the C5 is lowkey hot garbage tho. Sacrifices a lot of short-medium range performance compared to the aim120A/B just for it to be able to hit a target a few second earlier at 30km+ than the A/B model.
Not to mention the C5 is only effective on the current top dogs of BVR like the F15E and EF2000 because of their amazing engine, letting you get high and fast quick. F15C is just not gona compete in 14.3
Exacly.
yea if it gets more aim120 then its a valid reason to use it but the current loadout is bad
No we don’t know for sure if the F-15C Golden Eagle can use them. The picture of the F-15C with the double rack and amber rack was the demo F-15C 2040C. And even then, that wasn’t really a F-15C 2040C but simply a F-15C carrying what would be the 2040C loadout.
Just because the ANG wanted the MRML doesn’t mean they ever got the money for it. As said, if you can find a single picture or proof that this is in service, then we’re good.
Honestly that is the reason why I haven’t touched the F-15s in general at all lately. Why waste time in something like the MSIP II and F-15E in 14.3 games while the EFT does everything as good or better.
