F-15C Golden Eagle should be able to hold more missiles

Apparently, gaijin thinks that the things they plan to purchase are just models with no actual function.

Thanks.

And yeah, I’m almost certain the PDF that was used is pretty much the ANG wishlist for their inventory to secure funds, including CFT and MRML. So while 2040C would have MRML by default like the EX, it seems like big Airforce never actually gave the money for that for the GE. Hell, they barely gave the money for a few Talon Hate and EPAWSS upgrades, even though these are also part of the critical demands in that list.

See two posts above + PDF in question:
https://www.ang.af.mil/Portals/77/documents/ang_priorities_books/2018%20Mod%20Book.pdf

Another PDF also was used. Not just wishlist.

It’s written at the top of the page(in bold too):
Recommendation

Air Force(and Congress) have the last word when it comes to that even though the ANG really wanted it. The EX program siphoned a boat load of money away from any F-15C upgrades.

I cited the PDF in my report, and Gaijin responded to me as I said

Apparently gaijin is using double standards

That’s right. The KH38MT, whose very existence is questionable, and the Oprood T, which should be incapable of using certain munitions, are present. The SU-30SM equipped with the dubiously usable double pylon exists, but the F-15C equipped with the Amber Rack—which has photos but whose actual status is unknown—will not be implemented. Damn it.

Players fixated on one standard and those who tolerate double standards to weaken a nation are engaged in an ugly battle on the forums. Oh God, save us.

Looks like this thread kicked the anti-US nest.
I don’t think it would be catastrophic if 'murica gets MRML pylons, it would get twelve missiles with those, still less than the Su-30. But I guess other blufor mains start to get jealous over numbers.

Are you for real? you’ve been watching the changelogs and bug reports over the years?
They only use bug reports to do balance changes when it benefits them. They’ve nerfed vehicles time and time again without sources… and so they buffed others the same way.

I once told the anti-American folks here that if they saw the leaked F-15CGE, it’d be a disaster without Amber Rack or AMRAAMD. It turned out disastrous in a different sense lol

I’m against all of these things.

But the F-15C 2040C =/= F-15C Golden Eagle. If you can find proof big Air Force accepted to pay for MRML toward the F-15C Golden Eagle, good stuff. But after taking a step back and looking at this Golden Eagle matter again, it seems like Gaijin is right in saying the Golden Eagle never got the increased missile count.

Gaijin has big double standards but it doesn’t make the answer they gave incorrect either. All in all, a better AMRAAM for the Golden Eagle alongside BOLS, EPAWSS, and Talon IRST would already go a long way to make it 14.3 worthy without adding dubious MRML.

it’s reported anyway. or at least quite close thing

Not really? The discussion has been quite civil so far.

Their answer is seemingly correct sadly.

Nah. Same passive-agressive bs as usual:

This first uses the “realistic” argument, though War Thunder is already full into the realm of fiction with the X-38 and basically experimental ordnance.

This one gatekeeps the amount of fiction Gaijin has already introduced in the game because it doesn’t benefit his main nation.

And this one is completely oblivious to the plain fact AIM-120s are more situational missiles than the actual best current missiles.

If any of them don’t want the US to get more missiles than their main nations, they should say it with proper arguments, not through basic and forgivable loopholes even by Gaijin’s own standards.

P.S. This entire discussion would be completely avoidable if, at the very least, the AIM-120C-5s performed significantly better in HOBS than its predecessors, which, incidentally, is not at all unreasonable.

Future aircraft will likely become increasingly classified and opaque.I believe that it would be better for the future if we stopped having double standards and established unified standards now. That being said, in my understanding, Golden Eagle meant 2040. AESA was a separate upgrade and what was implemented in the game was not Golden Eagle.

In my personal opinion the F-15C GE feels like an in between plane. Imo it’s too weak in it’s current state to be placed at 14.3 while it might also be on the stronger side of 14.0.

Which is why they should give it some buffs and make it 14.3 worthy.

Fully agree

Check my post here, I go into more details as to what’s what.

In short:
AMBER racks were only proposed, never made.(Even Boeing advertises the F-15EX as 12 AMRAAM max on their website, not more)
F-15C Golden Eagle: No MRML
F-15C 2040C: MRML + AMBER rack. Only a proposal, not even a test flight.
F-15EX: Only MRML(so far, maybe AMBER rack in the future?)
