so yes they are lighter but the f15j fm is as or more comparable with f15a than f15c msip2
it continues to out accelerate MSIP2 well past that point

nah, the only imaging seekerhead russia produced was for the canceled izd-300/k-30 missile, and they just restarted the development for an improved version of it called izd-300m 4 years ago. i talked about it in the r-73 thread

i meant that f-15j is an f-15c with f-15a engines, it’s not a f-15a. just was saying that. it makes sense its better than the c
r-30 is wrong designation, it never went into service, was always k-30. and r-74m2 is definitely not imaging, russian imaging seekerheads have much difference front end compared to their non imaging counter parts
but for in game f15c = msip2
because that is the only aircraft named f15c (until GE is added but that has the same fm)
