Long story short: They simply won’t, the given answer is just PR. I’ve seen this “consideration” card way too many times without actual changes to know that, at this point of the update cycle, they straightup don’t care if the plane is DOA.

Is there any news regarding the EPAWSS RWR suite for the F-15C GE?
The 9X won’t magically fix american planes like people seem to think. They’ll still have like the second worst top tier IR.

I said that it would make it worth staying at 14.3, even without the promised upgrades Gaijin is supposedly considering, period. If it doesn’t get anything, it should actually go down to 14.0, as it’s a direct downgrade on raw performance and multirole than the F-15E, except for the radar.
The AIM-9X BI is quite a good IR missile, it’ll certainly go toe on toe against PL-8s/M2s tier, if not better considering airplane’s kinematics carried to the IR missile.

what it truly needs is the fixed aim120c5 and as you said the FM buff, after that the aircraft is perfectly competitive.

aim9x block 2, iris t and asraam are perfectly comparable missiles, asraam has the longest range but its the least maneuverable off bore, iris t has very long range and the most maneuverability, and aim9x has the shortest range an very good maneuverability. aim9x is smokeless which iris t and asraam arent. afaik all of these missiles have a 2 way datalink and very good imaging seekers. perfomance will be different yes but aim9x block 2 will be quite competitive albeit outmatched. pl10 i havent seen any perfomance metrics for but i wager it will be in between iris t and aim9x possibly closer to iris t. r74m will be the worst one although considering how imaging seekers are implemented its likely that downside will be fairly irrelevant ingame, the lack of a 2 way datalink however will mean a massive disadvantage in a frontal aspect.
all of this left aside i agree aim9x is not what is needed at all, there are actual problems that need fixing aim9x is not a fix its a stupid solution that would either do nothing(in the case every other comparable is added as well which is very likely) or just be broken and ruin top tier(incase its added by itself). i left out mica ir cause its not really in the same category as these missiles, its more capable but its also literally a mica, and it lacks a 2 way datalink afaik. and python 5 cause i know virtually nothing on it but the little i’ve read on it looks extremely capable(although my brother says its fairly inconsistent on his spyder)

We all agree on that basis, though Gaijin won’t fix them on the F-15C, I’ll only believe they’ll do it when I see the improvements applied on either the dev or live server. Until then, it’s just smoke and mirrors.
It’s not a solution, is leverage to compensate their incompetence on modelling an air superiority variant of the F-15 without convincing assets to perform its role as an actual top tier plane.
As of right now, the F-15E can still outperform the GE in either its intended air superiority role, or groundpounding: The F-15E has better T2WR, same top ARH/IR combo and has a functional radar: not the best, but a doable mechanical radar to simply best the GE.
AESA will give it better SA and datalink but yeah PW229 do make the f15e a superior a2a platform at the start of a match thats inevitable, f15e and f15c GE should BOTH be 14.3 with the fixed aim120c5, and the f15c basemodel should be 14.0 with the fixed aim120a’s
Would you happen to know if we could maybe hope for the HUD fixes to come with the patch as well? Would be perfect timing with a new F-15C coming with a new cockpit.

yeah considering how broken HMDs are in sim yet no fix.
that would help if eft didnt get C5, but because it did any fixes for that wont help too much because it sees something with a much better flight model and C5
