What’s the difference between the F-15 2040C and the Golden Eagle in Game?

Iirc yes. 2040C was a much more extensive upgrade that would’ve had EPAWSS. A lot of its less extreme capabilities ended up on F-15C’s though

So, the F-15 2040C was never put in service with the USAF? Unfortunate.
I’ve heard that this is a 2040C. Having x4 extra 120Ds would be funny.
It’s a sort of a mockup of the 2040C, it’s just an F-15C with the external upgrades like the amber and MRML racks iirc

Well I couldn’t see that in the mockup I posted, so I thought it was only 4.

because AMBER only needs one of the lower end standardized data busses
and they can mount GBUs and other more complex systems there

if so, that would over double the missile loadout of a standard C, bringing it from 8 to 18
yes, if AMBER entered service (still more real than other loadout options in game but never going to be added)
F-15A is a very fun dogfighter.
yeah, people often diss the F-15s due to how large they are but they forget that its got more than enough thrust and lift to make up for it, got my first ACE in it dogfighting a MiG-29 while picking off invaders of said dogfight

here’s the aforementioned dogfight, now this was a while ago, back when i used OBS instead of Xbox game bar, so the quality is low, the fight in question is closer to the end
of which you can also see my start in distrusting the radar lead indicator

yeah, the skin was custom as well, this was back before they started doing different afterburners per aircraft and those were closer to actual eagle AB than what was already in game

TWR of YES is indeed very fun. Another big dophamine kicker is catching Su-30 wallet warriors with a Sparrow from 25-30 km.

I was playing the F-15E earlier and a Premium Su-30 tried killing me after I landed and somehow, in a fully loaded F-15E, I reversed him and killed him.
i slapped Rafail in a Giggle today. Thank god i didn’t turn back to rearm, Golden Eagle with 4 minutes of fuel can actually dogfight a Rafale that just took off lol
