Btw russian stream showed that the su34 indeed will be able to use the thermals of the kh38 seeker. We need to see this ourselves on the devserver because it’s still inferior to proper thermals but yeah it seems that their “balance method” isn’t making sense at all
They also said that the Su-34 will have a working ground radar as well.
It really looks like a potent and fun cas plane to play (obviously not as fun to face lol).

People been saying flight performance doesn’t matter since the F100 came to the game, they’ve been wrong and will continue to be wrong.
The Gripen absolutely stomped. The J-10 stomps. The future gen4’s like the F-18 and the Rafale will stomp. The other features just make it all the more terrifying.

Can the F-15E carry the AGM-154C JSOW? Itd be good as a rough analogue to the Russians getting the Kh-36 Grom 1. Similar ranges (130km for JSOW launched from high alt vs 120km range for Grom 1), JSOW is unpowered (so much much slower) but has terminal IIR guidance as tradeoff. Both appear to be of similar sizes and warhead weights.
All i can find are pics of F-16C’s dropping JSOW
Integration of JSOW was canceled. Only test aircraft carried it AFAIK.

JSOW would be cooler imo. More range than AGM-130, but has to be dropped from high.

AGM-84H/K SLAM-ER would be the next closest thing, but it dwarfs the Grom 1 with 270km range, JASSM is 370km
F-15E doesn’t use AGM-84 Slam or slam er. It’s navy missile
Also just pointing out, only LANTIRN TGP and SDB I. Also if my eyes didnt fool me, taking the LANTIRN will limit you to only 4 CM blocks AND still no BOL. Should be Sniper XR, which has no effect on CMs and SDB II with IR or SAL head. What a bunch of pussies

20km range for TGP is also sad, i like doing SEAD on Sim airfields and 20km range will be a real limit if patriot or S300 is going to get deployed.
We’re probably going to need to wait for the F-15E “Late”, an Advance Eagle prototype or -15EX for that. since they really seem to be drawing things out.
Things might even be drawn out further by the F-16XL and B-1B as well.
Also I don’t have high hopes for the SDB-II, or JAGM-MR (?AGM-187B?) to be added any time soon, due to similar issue with the Brimstone.
L-JDAM, Laser-SDB[GBU-39A/A] (and P-JDAM) do seem like viable options though.
At some point they may add Synthetic Aperture Radar modes, to allow the radar to provide “target points” for use against static point type targets (GMTI handles mobile ones). So there still may be a chance even if Self-Protect mode for AGM-88s is not implemented.

I know, the issue with the SDB-II is that they have both LOAL and post-release retargeting (datalink) capability on top of a Multi-Spectral (MMW & IIR) and SALH, Tri-modal seeker.
When did they ever let america have a worse variant lmao
F-15J(M), F-16AJ, F-16A Block 15(France), F-16A Block 10(Netz) are better than their US counterparts/variants
