Can’t Load BOL Pods despite unlocking the modification,… NICE BUG!
now i’m stuck to do 21k RP to maybe be able to use BOL Pods

I have 2x54C thanks to the 2 fox-1/3 update when stock.
And BOL can only be paired with 9L, when you’eve unlocked the 9L modification (so not on stock state)
I tried to use a custom loadout, with 2x9l, 1xBOL pod without missile, 1x54C, and 4x7M (-> screenshot of preselection#2 set in red so unusable)
But despite having the BOL pod modification, i can’t use the loadout in game.
I also tried creating a 4x BOL pods without 9L, and 4x 7M,… but can’t be used.

Why doesn’t it allow you to use it?
If you check the early preseted loadout, you’ll see a 2x9L 2x54C that’s the Start-up loadout of F-14B since every aircraft got some Fox-1 when stock.
You have the same similar loadout for F-14A with 9D and 54A.
As said earlier, even a 4 BOL + 4 AIM-7F is not allowing me to use such Loadout.
And if you’ve seen the loadout “preselection 3” you’ll see a double 54C which is allowed.(right under in the screen shot)
