I really think you are underestimating how good the F-14 flight model is with low fuel

Now the issue is that the Gripen and F-15 are not equal to the Flanker and the MiG-29SMT.
So again, the issue is compression.
F-15 is 13.3 worthy period

I guarantee you the F-14B doesnt beat the gripen in a rate fight. Hell, we can try it if you’d like. I’ll take out the F-14. Matter of fact, the F-14B doesnt even beat an F-15 in a rate fight.
At lower speeds it will beat the gripen, at high speed gripen is better
Oh yeah, if the gripen loses all of its speed then goes into a maneuver that relies on speed. ANY plane will beat a gripen if it loses all of its speed then tries to rate fight.
All im saying is, calling F-14 flight model 9/10 is not a stretch. It can forever maintain a 12G turn without losing speed.
It has very high nose authority at low speeds as well
If gripen and F-16A are 10/10 flight models, F-14B is AT WORST 8.5

You’re just wrong. The F-14B is not that dominant in the flight model department.
Can you please go into test drive and use F-14B at low fuel without missiles?

I know how it performs there. Also, you realize how you’ll NEVER be in a fight with a low fuel F-14 that doesnt have any missiles in AIR RB? The F-14 needs a buffed radar and phoenixes before I support it going up. As it stands now, I think they should give it an all aspect radar and longer ACM box, as well as 25g phoenixes and it’ll be just fine. I think its time for balance over realism in this area because the f-14 is too strong in a downtier but gets eaten alive in uptiers lol.

I jettisson all my missiles if i have to dogfight. So you will be without missiles whenever you want. And with how fast it uses fuel, you can be low fuel
No, it does guzzle fuel but lets not act like at the drop of a dime you can be at low fuel just because you anticipate a dogfight. There is no dump fuel mechanic in this game.
Also, it pulls 6g at best with no energy loss. 350 mph. Gripen still does better.
I did a test drive on the F-14B and can confirm the F-14B cannot rate as fast as an F-16 let alone a Gripen. The F-16 was doing 8-9Gs at 600kmh while the F-14B wasn’t even giving me a G overload warning.
