fakour is like an r27er with steroids in terms of kinematics with lofting but with the worst seekerhead of all time
Fakour is still incredibly easy to defend against speed only matters if the damn thing can actually track/hit the reality of it is you get warned so far out that you can start defending almost immediately
dying to a fakour or even a Aim-54 is entirely a skill issue imo

Ohhhhhh I was looking at the wrong station.
Yeah I just reverse image searched the image Mikey sent and found the one with 9Ps, so I don’t think the original would be carrying R-73s.

It can still be outpulled and the seeker sucks. The value is sniping base bombers who would’ve died 5 seconds later to their own bomb fuse. If you know it’s coming, you shouldn’t be dying to it.
It also literally is just a faster Aim-54, so yeah, the effectiveness can be compared.

Facts. And I feel bad for all the people who have to grind the IRIAF in it’s 13.0 time too. 2 Aim-54As and 2 AIM-9Ps!!! at 14.0 matches. And you’re not getting better IR missiles than that. Wild.
Well… This sucks.
Another 13.0 is getting All aspect IRCCM missiles with modern ARH missiles (with no uptier) but the F-14B can’t get the Aim-9M with a trash ARH missile.

If it’s needed sure but I don’t think it would. yeah that’s one another would be the radar and dual plane for all missiles and i think theirs more that I can’t remember right now.
No reason for why it should, the J8F has a vastly superior radar, modern all aspect ARHes and now the ability to carry 6 IRCCM equipped IRAAMs.
The 14B has been exceedingly mid if not outright just worse than everything else at it’s BR, if gaijin chooses to force the 14B to go up in BR if it gets 9Ms while the J8F remains at 13.0, its just more obvious proof that they are either exceedingly biased or have 0 idea how their game is balanced.

And? The F-14B has been at the same BR for just about the same amount of time while being worse in almost every aspect, this is the F-14B thread after all. Reminder again that the J8F still has a usable radar and modern ARHes, the 14B has neither.
Thank you for re-iterating that the F-14B is still the worst 13.0 aircraft beyond the subsonics at the same BR.
Edit, so the F-14B, after running through the trees, is the only 13.0 that lacks IRCCM equipped IRAAMs now, lmao.
