They generally are after 30years
So a 50 year old manual should be unrestricted

That isn’t the problem, the problem is the special export restriction paragraph under the title.
From DCS forum, someone tried to FOIA request from NAVAIR. They didn’t say no but, don’t have it anymore.
However, it is necessary to reconfirm this.
We have gotten in a lot of trouble sharing stuff from DCS forums in here in the past. Just cuz it’s over there doesn’t mean it’s permissible here.

It makes the engines less responsive, takes longer for max thrust to build up.

The F-14 being a fleet defence aircraft would fit pretty well
Fleet defense= interceptor basically it’s just navy interceptor it would be a mode where aim54 is useful
