Must be getting some lucky lobbies, because even before the uptier I was getting players who would intentionally go for my missiles and other fakours with their Su-30 premiums. It’s only gotten worse with the uptier.
Literally had some guy in the CN prem Su-30 go and shoot all his ARH missiles to counter fakours and then RTB and leave lobby once, it was that absurd
It is really dumb idea F-14D add as premium instead TT.
Also, why they don’t add other tomcat variants like F-14A with bombcat configuration or early F-14A+ which is basically F-14B without lantern?
Its so freaking dumb, they couldve added a proper f14bu with sparrowhawk and all the bells and whistles, my conspiracy is that theyre going to make the f14d actually good, a f14bu would be pretty crap even with aim7p, same for f14a+
sadly the the F14B in game can recieve it but it would function like a normal M or F sparrow as the AWG-9 cant use datalink channels for the AIM-7P just the AIM-54
the F14D can use it tho with its APG-71
F14b we have ingame should be a full bu model(it isnt now) and someone here suggested f14bu had the ability to datalink 7ps

Aim7ps aside, the path to making f14b good would be to actually make aim54s valid weapons.
I bet if they add F-14D, they doesn’t change AIM-54s loadout limitations.
I mean, x2 AIM-54s on rear fuselage stations are still not allowed because of CG limit but, they can carry on wing pylons.

As (extremely) dumb as it sounds, there were technically two F-14D sub variants: standard F-14D (newly built), and the F-14D(R), which was converted from existing F-14As. Call me a dumbass, but we could potentially see both a TT and premium version of it…

We’re more likely to see fixes to the existing F-14B, since really all the APG-71 would in terms of WT performance do is add A2G radar modes.
As the TCS should negate issues with the AWG-9 being an early radar. and the “-B(U)” should utilize the features of the later AN/AWG-15H FCS.
It’s happened to me consistently over the past few months at multiple BRs. Dunno if it’s the time I play or just bad luck but I get so many iron dome abusers in my matches above 12.0 that I’ve more or less stopped bothering with playing that BR.
