Right now, the AIM-7P is a bit of a lost cause unless we find new sources with additional information. However, we could instead ask for the AIM-7MH and distinguish it from the AIM-7M through the incorporation of lofting capability.
That would give the F-14D, and possibly the F-14B, the following options:
- AIM-7M (without lofting capability)
- AIM-7MH (with lofting capability)
That said, I’ve heard that the in-game AIM-7M already has lofting capability, so that might need to be changed.
As for the AIM-54C+, unfortunately, it would end up being another copy-and-paste AIM-54C with identical in-game performance but a different name. Gaijin really needs to focus on implementing the outstanding AIM-54C bug reports, such as correcting the reduced motor performance and other known issues.

Someone found evidence F-14D used 7P for training exercises, and I’d question why they would use it if the main function didn’t work with AN/APG-71…
Ik… they won’t accept it unless we get new sources proving the AN/APG-71 can provide its datalink.
Link-16 should be compatible and that’s what AN/APG-71 uses, I don’t know why the bug report mods felt the need to straight-up lie.
Either way, still more realistic than the F-14A IRIAF using R-27R1s.

“Accepted” doesn’t mean anything yet; the F-104G/S was “accepted” based on reports proving it had IRST and EEGS two years ago, and it still doesn’t have those capabilities.

It’s only a small fix. They will copy and paste the same AIM-54C with its in-game values and give it a new name. That’s it.
They won’t give its ECCM functions, of course.

AN/APG-71 can use DL. And its have a Link16. I dont know why they think it cant DL.

Its show F-14D can DL together just like that DL AIM-120 in F-15. Its mean Two F-14D can operate together with DL.

The official announcement has already been updated and now includes “9M” in the description, so it’s almost—ALMOST—a Super Tomcat.
We’re still waiting for the AIM-7P and AIM-54C+, and then it will be a full-fledged SUPER Tomcat.
In an ideal world, the F-14A would now be equipped with the AIM-9L, which it definitely used in the real world :)
P.S.: Of course, it would be nice to see the TT version F-14D, not just the one hidden behind a paywall.

Its been a long my friends now its came true!!!
They got it done pretty quickly; the F-104G/S has been waiting over two years for the IRST/EEGS, which have already been “accepted.”

The F-104G/S suffer from having a very high BR relative to their combat capabilities, yet they don’t yet possess the full capabilities they actually had. EEGS and IRST would be a nice addition, and the funniest part is that the F-104S/G in the game have an IRST module modeled in, but well, two years isn’t enough time to “enable” it.
