Small visual change to the F-14B:

Greatest change ever Tomcat receive this update.
How Gaijin prioritizes bug fixes is something that has puzzled me for a long time and I’d like to get to the bottom of.
This is a game. Wouldn’t it make sense to prioritize fixing bugs that impact gameplay? Scrolling through changelog and the data mine there’s pages upon pages of inconsequential fixes… things like “Corrected plate thickness from 5.75mm to 5.8mm” or “changed name of machine gun dididi to machine gun tralala”. No. One. Cares.
Meanwhile there’s vehicles that are missing critical gameplay features such as ammunition, missiles, blow-out panels, spall liners, etc. and yet go unchanged for several years.
I’m not crashing out over this little model fix specifically, but bug fixing priority in general, just so that’s clear
Artists don’t really fix bugs that aren’t related to visual model errors, that’s not their job.
Damn, 4 months ago. I didn’t even realize it was related to ECM; I just thought they updated that portion because they added the F-14s fuel dumping. In that case, I think they missed these, which I’m assuming could also relate to ECM systems, but I’m not sure:

I’ve opened a new one. Support it if you want. If you guys want, I’ll do one for the F-14B along with the thrust curve report when I’m done with that.

YF-14A tail painted with “Mach 2.4” on the tail. Surely this is a marketing lie!

what are you smoking, like legitimately how can you ever come to that conclusion
Well this is a change, opens a few doors.
We can use some F-14B/D manuals for bug reports now.
Like THE F-14D Flight Manual? This weekend there’s going to be lots of bugreports gathered…
I mean -1.1 manual that is mentioned about performance charts.
Idk about -1 manual. I don’t have one anyway.
Apologies, but Vonarian is mistaken here. You are not permitted to use export-controlled materials. This includes all distribution classifications except for “A – Unlimited”, unless accompanied by a valid FOIA.

I was writing some bug reports from 1995 manual
You could always start the FOI process to confirm the documents status, I’m surprised more effort hasn’t gone into that, given its basically administrative at this point, you don’t even need to pay for copies just confirm its status.
Got my hopes up and everything
