No all aspect IR missiles a pretty average Radar and RWR from the 40s!
Aim54s and Fakours are easy to defeat and no Aim7P yet the F/A-18 is at a lower BR and is superior in every way?
pretty garbage Radar really… It’s worse than the Navy Phantoms radar. That along with the paperweight RWR make it’s situational awareness and survivability 0/10.
We needed the F-14D yesterday. If it doesn’t get 120s… Man. People talk about how the F-2 is DOA with great ARH missiles and a top 2 FM in the game. F-14D would be way worse.
I think it needs a complete missile overhaul, Iranian F-14 is using Aim9P which are some of the worse IR missiles in game. It can only carry 2 R-27ER and lets be honest Fakour and Aim54 are waste of time in an age of 120s and 77s It has hardly any countermeasures and is just a pretty bad jet.
Compare that with the US F-14B can carry Aim7M (far superior) and more than 2 of them and has all aspect missiles and BOL pods (yes I know BOL pods aren’t great)
In what world is that on the same level as the Iranian F-14?
Every game is Su-27SM and F/A-18 and you can do nothing against them.

Not even ERs btw. It only gets the R. And thats somehow it’s best SARH. The Sedjeel and Aim-7E-2 are worse.
Needs R-73 or R-27Ts honestly. It’s so stupid being stuck with a 9.3 IR missile at 14.0 games.
They’re a waste of time in general tbh. With how they’re currently implemented.

Well assuming it gets added next update and it gets AMRAAMs it would probably be one of US’s best toptiers so 13.7 fits it better.
It’s basically a slower F-15E with better avionic, better FM + more missiles.
Just lacks HMD and Ground Attack stuff
