The 9L missiles on this aircraft seems to be nerfed…not performing as it should…anybody notice???

Just not as “effective” as other 9Ls on other aircraft…it just isn’t
The is zero difference between weapons on aircraft, AIM-9L is the same weapons file on F-111F as every other AIM-9L carrier out there.
i guess it’s just me…thanks for clarifying though

Spaded it last week and the aim9Ls are fine. If you go to the side and come in mid furball at mach jesus slinging them off from behind they work amazing
AIM-9Ls feel worse when you’re slinging them from a bus

If the plane is slow, missile has less starting energy.
If the plane is not maneuverable, you won’t be able to effectively lead the missile before launch.
Therefore, plane performance is important to weapons performance.
9L get flare kinda easily tho i got the F-5 in swedish tech tree 6/10 i shot they just flare off like nothing
If you say speed is a factor…They’re deadly in my A-10
Its a 9l ur not gonna shoot it like from 20km
If you’re in something like an F-16, the stress and adrenaline compensates for the performance of the 9Ls.
In the Vark however - it’s mostly “lob a 9L, oh look he flared it” and that’s most of your match
