Hi, mostly here to just ask a question and a slight complaint about the sturmtiger.
Why is the shell that’s inside the sturmtigers barrel explodable even when there shouldn’t be a shell since you’re still reloading?
so many times i have died in it because someone machine gunned the shell even after i just fired it.
and i’m sure that i’m not the only one having this question and or complaint.
while on the topic, why does only the sturm tiger have this feature of a permanent shell that’s always primed to kill you?

The Churchill AVRE also has this feature and the vehicle itself is by far worse than the Sturmtiger, it’s not a special feature only to a vehicle, any vehucle with exposed ammunition can be destroyed by damaging the ammunition.
Because it is a massive rocket with a big boom warhead and a tanks may struggle to pen you anywhere else on the front of your tank.
For why its able to be shot, its simply for balance.
I believe the matilda hedgehog’s mortars also do this
It’s a first stage rack that resupply itself regardless of reloads, thought they have the same time. if reloads got interrupted the rack still load the shell. lazy mechanics
