Getting back to the original topic. I’m wondering why developers outsource to other companies to make garbage and mediocre skins, and even use AI on top of that, when there are players who create skins and do a far superior job than the company that charges for that mediocre work. I’d rather pay those players to make historical skins, since they’ve proven time and again that their work is impressive. In fact, I already have over 180GB of historical skins alone.
Still no response, after sending it to three technical moderators.

Why would you think technical moderators would respond? There are here to process bug reports and “technical problems” - not answer your pet peeves!!
Haha, wow, it seems losing more than half the FPS and having the game stutter just from being near trees isn’t a problem; it’s just a quirk of mine. My PC just doesn’t like vegetation.

Sorry - my mistake - I thought the topic was AI generated vehicle textures - I didn’t recognize that you had gone to an OT sidetrack.
The AI-generated textures are truly shameful, especially since it’s done by a subcontractor, while there are players who do a thousand times better work creating historical skins.
Regarding the other issue, it was a conversation with a friend who advised me to send private messages to the technical moderators, since the report I submitted (the one I posted earlier) simply resulted in them telling me the problem was mine and closing the report as fixed, which isn’t true.
I know the conversation was off-topic, but since it was a topic about textures, I took the liberty of pointing out that bug in the game. A colleague replied recommending that I write to the moderators, they haven’t responded yet, and that’s how the conversation continued.
It’s been a month since this post and I haven’t seen any information regarding when the identified AI content is going to be replaced.
Does Gaijjn have any updates on when we could expect that?
Gotta love how Gaijin “fixing” the AI content is just removing the logos.
What about all the AI avatars and icons too?
They apologised because they were caught this time.
They wouldn’t say sorry unless they made a blunder that included the Gemini logo on their AI Avatars or Icons
“Caugfht”? In what way - had they said they don’t use AI or that everything was created by people or somethign like that?
They said that “use of AI is not authorised” or somethign like that - meh - so what? Possibly a commercial dispute if there’s somethign in the terms of their contracts, but why is it of any concern otherwise??

they said this however they updated several of the old PFPs with AI. the PFP i use is also very much AI.
