What happened to the plans Indonesia had of buying an Italian aircraf carrier that included some AV-8Bs?

AFAIK it’s just a rumor started by a Janes article, as I haven’t heard local sources mentioning them. The Indonesian Navy themself also being vague on what they plan to do with Garibaldi, aside from its peacetime duties

got news we’re apparently getting the J-10CE (24 units) as well was the PL-15E missiles. If this is true then I’m thankful its not the J-10B. Questionable decision still, but not as outrageous as before, plus the missile news is fantastic

As planned, this month (June 2026) Indonesia has settled its financial contribution to the KF-21 development program, and is slated to receive one of the single-seat prototype, which will be transfered in near future.

Are they gonna acquire production variants or in the long term or just this one airframe?
I know the stealth fighter is not coming soon to WarThunder but how armed would the prototype be? Is it basically a fancy test plane or could it do battle just enough to be added in game?
Anyone can clarify about this post? this guy said there is postpone of the M-346 procurement and i didn’t even found any post mentioning this news both in X and FB keris group.
KF-21 in it’s current configuration is more closer to what we have at top tier now besides Meteors of course and next gen IR missiles but it could in theory be added now with aim-120s and aim-9s and would be fine it’s not a stealth fighter since it lacks a weapons bay
Low visibility aircraft is likely the better word for it. But can the prototype do battle that is the question does it have any fire control? If not we cant have it yet.

AFAIK last year the Indonesian side has reaffirm its commitment to buy 48 KF-21, and might sign the contract for 16 KF-21 either later this year, or next year.
It was in a comment by their FB handler, to be fair we only sign the LoI for M-346, so any change to the plan is expected

the Mindef wanted ~600 trillion rupiah for the this fiscal budget, was denied by the finance ministry (was given ~193 trillion). So now the mindef wanted it to be ~300. This is a massive cut so not that surprising
what I dont like is its alternative, personally Id rather just go back to the T-50 rather than the L-15 (supposedly, maybe not entirely true who knows).
Another aspect is this thing is supposed to be one of the “Pelicin” for the Garribaldi (basically additional stuff to make the bigger deal go smoothly). What would be its alternative? Is the Italians happy with just two pelicin rather than 3? There’s a lot of factors to consider
There are several other potential Italian stuff floating in the rumours, mostly naval stuff though

Looks like a Su-27SKM (old number TS-2704, new number T-2704) has been spotted with the new splinter camo scheme, similar to the ones applied to two Su-30MK2 last year
