Should the Swiss(Ground) be added to France
Expanded tech tree of the French tech tree containing around 300 vehicles. i added tanks i would like to see since there are still a bunch of Cockerill tanks that could be added. there is a good amount of copy and paste unfortunately but for the most part most of these vehicles are unique and would be in a good place in war thunder.
Why switzerland in the french TT?
i know the Swiss are controversial in which tech tree it would be in(French or German) but it would be the correct decision for the primary tech tree be in France. Germany can get many vehicles as well while France can get unique designs in the early tiers and much needed tanks in between top tier. for example Germany can get Marder M12, Mowag Tornado Rh-105-11, Mowag LPTS, PZ87WE, DF 105 CT and much more, this adds a good balance since France gets what they need and so does Germany ground wise(primarily 7.7-8.7).

when french literaly already has netherlands and claims a lot of german stuff with it, like you arelady put the 2a8nl even in the subtree

Honestly why not give france their 3rd tech tree ( leaving out luxembourg) when germany doesnt even have one. And france and germany have literaly the same potential overall for developed stuff when the full tech tree would get realised
Btw maybe do good research first. Skyranger 35, skyranger 30 acsv are all german

Benelux wasn’t enough, nothing switzerland has to give france isn’t already available in some capacity in the Benelux ground subtree (AKA you already have CV90s, Leopards and will soon recieve more) whereas german high tier is in need for more lineup filler Leopards and some interesting IFVs to bolster the 9.7-10.7 area.
With your proposition france will have more high tier leopards than germany and I simply cannot stand for that

i just suggested it, its not going to happen in game don’t know why you’re so hostile. all i said is that Switzerland can fill the ranks of both nations and i wouldn’t mind which tech tree it goes into.
Swiss has a lot to offer both nations, germany needs it at top tier while france needs it at low tier.
the Dutch just got the Skyranger 30 ACSV and the Swiss has Skyranger 35 plus the swiss has their own domestic 140mm leopard not just germany.

Germany needs swiss more than france needed benelux tbh, france already has the best air tree in game, throw the 3rd best F-16 in there too cuz why not, the dutch Leopards appeased a grand total of ZERO french mains and there still are hardly any belgian vehicles in the game (plus claiming all Cockerell vehicles is a bit much tbh)

The only claim they have is that oerlikon made the gun, besides that all skyrangers are entirely german
ammunition as well if we wanna specify, which we are starting to produce elswhere now as well because switzerland has problems handing over ammunition in certain situations

+1. This “suggestion” fills many gaps the Fr*nch experience.
Also Swiss F/A-18 would be a really good CAS-less aircraft that would plug a good gap between the 200C-S5 and -5F.

From what i get there are some swiss vehicles / modifications that were made in cooperation with France those for sure could be welcome but Switzerland also has good cooperation with Germany on some other vehicles so it should be the same for Germany, Switzerland either should be part of a new tree with different nations (not those currently in game) or is shared with Germany and France
Does it even matter to argue about where switzerland will end up? It got confirmed by the chinese leaker and gzsabi that switzerland will end up with germany. We will see the next two or three updates if it is officall or their plans changed. Right now every swiss vehicle is in germany

Austria can also fill in leopards and IFV’s, can get 2a8, eumbt, embt, 2a4 140, and much more. plus Germany still has a lot more vehicles that could fill br’s that havent been added yet, paired with Austria you get the same thing the Swiss offers to France.
Germany can get some of the Mowag sharks and tornados from switzerland since they collaborated with them.
Swiss adds unique tanks between br’s the other trees cant, the br’s where france is lacking tanks germany gets full lineups.

The problem of germany isn’t ground it is air after rank 5. Austria has nothing to offer there

swiss should be a shared tech tree since its a split between cooperation from Germany and France.

i made this tech tree as a demonstration of what Swiss could provide, i wouldn’t want to see every one of these tanks in the french tech tree unless it adds something to it.

i suggested this for ground not air, swiss should defiantly go to germany in air as france does not need it.
